The ever-popular DRAGON BALL franchise is going to get yet another title under its belt, as Bandai Namco has arrived with a new MOBA title DRAGON BALL PROJECT:Multi. This will be a 4v4 team-oriented battler, which is promoted as the “first-ever” in this genre by the makers as DRAGON BALL PROJECT:Multi will be kicking off a regional beta test on August 19th, 2024.
Experience fast-paced tactical battles with your beloved DRAGON BALL heroes
With an intense 4 vs. 4 format gameplay, immerse yourself in the Dragon Ball universe by either dominating the battlefield with sheer strength or strategically conquering objectives with your friends and allies. From the trailer and the gameplay snippets, the game is fast-paced, and the animations look stunning with the special moves getting special treatment.
What’s more unique is that you can have your style of entrance animations or special finisher animations thanks to the options available. Coming back to the gameplay part, as the round progresses, the Hero characters you control will grow in strength, allowing you to obliterate enemy players and bosses alike. The franchise is a vast one, so you have the option to choose from a variety of Heroes.
From the trailer itself, I’ve seen Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, and Picollo to name a few. They each will come with unique abilities and roles. There’s a Hero for every play style, be it a super-aggressive damage role, a tank role that stays in the fight for a long time, or even a technical role. Customize your characters with a range of aesthetic changes, skin items, and animation modifications.
DRAGON BALL PROJECT:Multi beta test will be across Mobile and PC
The DRAGON BALL PROJECT: Multi will be available on various platforms starting from August 19, 2024, allowing players to participate from multiple regions including Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The platforms will be Android, iOS, and PC. At the start of the Regional beta Test, the listed platforms, regions, and languages will be supported, with testing in Germany and South Korea limited to iOS and Android devices. The test will conclude on September 3rd, 2024.
Currently, the store links are not active yet, but I’ll update this space once it is added. For the release details, it would be too early to speculate as I expect a couple of tests more before giving the game a finishing touch.
