KEMCO is the news for yet another new experience, as Dragon Ruins is officially opening pre-registration on mobile, inviting you to dive into a classic dungeon crawler experience. The game, which has already seen releases on PC and consoles, is now making its way to smartphones.
Dragon Ruins arrives as a classic dungeon crawler with a refreshing old-school feel
Set in the capital of Isigwere, Dragon Ruins throws you into a mysterious ancient dungeon where no adventurer has ever returned. With a legendary dragon waiting deep within, the game builds its core around the exploration around this monster, where you survive and progress.

Dragon Ruins leans heavily into a very old-school, grid-based dungeon-crawling system, a combination of something we don’t often see in modern mobile RPGs. You move tile by tile through narrow corridors, with a first-person perspective that feels straight out of classic RPGs.
I feel this retro approach is actually what makes the game refreshing. From the visuals, we see pixel-style art, and the UI is minimal, which makes it clean. About the gameplay, you form a 4-member party from 12 different classes, including options like Knight, Archer, Priest, and more.
Combat is handled through fast-paced auto-battles, where you can choose to fight or retreat depending on the situation. As you progress, enemies grow stronger, and each run becomes more challenging. The game also includes auto-mapping, helping players keep track of explored areas within the maze-like dungeon.
With pre-registration now open, if you like dungeon crawlers with a simple touch, it is for you. You can pre-register via the Google Play Store and App Store. The expected release date is April 2, 2026, as per the store listing, with this premium offering priced at $6.99.
