Aerial_Knight Games has announced the launch of its new fast-paced, stylized racing FPS, DropShot, now available on Android, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S. This award-winning title stands out for its unique visuals, smooth animation, and free-fall action. There are no details regarding the iOS release.
Dive into cool, fast-paced sky battles with rivals and dragons
DropShot Mobile blends strategy and speed with chaotic free-fall shooting. You play as Smoke Wallace, and I really like his bizarre origin story of getting bitten by a radioactive dragon and turning purple. And, the fact that we can shoot from fingertips feels like our childhood fantasy coming true.
But what really caught my attention is how the game throws you straight into intense sky battles. Here, you can race against four other players to hit the ground first, and every round ends in under a minute. Plus, in between rounds, you can also eliminate the threats with the limited ammo that you get.
You can use power-ups and slipstreams to beat others
But for me, the Boss Battles seem like pure chaos in the best way possible, as you battle massive bosses in midair while dodging trops and enjoying solid tracks. The Race Challenges are great too, especially since you can use others’ slipstreams and score multipliers to capture the falling Egg.
Overall, the game looks very enjoyable with all the quick matches, stunning environment and perspectives, intense sound design, diverse game modes, powerups, and more. And, even though I mostly play MOBAs, I also have a soft spot for shooters, and this one got my heart with its JoJo-like art style.
DropShot Mobile is now available on Android, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S. So, you can go ahead and download the game via the Google Play Store, while iOS users need to wait, as there are no official release details for it.
