Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is ready to set fire on stage as another edition of MPL MENA is coming, Season 9. The popular MOBA title from MOONTON Games will commence the esports event this April 10th, 2026, with eight teams and a fair share of the prize pool for each team. But the teams will be looking to earn a place in the upcoming global event in Saudi Arabia.
MPL MENA Season 9: Schedule and Format
The battle will kick off on the 10th of April 2026, and it will run till the 23rd of May 2026. Though the exact format has not been announced yet, it will follow the previous edition’s format. There will be a Regular Season with a single round-robin format, which will be followed by BO3 matches.
If a team wins by 2-0, it will earn three points. If the score becomes 2-1, the winning team will get 2 points while the losing side will earn 1 point. The top 6 teams from this stage will advance to the Playoffs. The next stage, the Playoffs, will begin with the remaining qualified teams.
The Playoffs should follow the previous edition’s rule as well. This stage will follow a hybrid elimination system where the 3rd to 6th-seeded teams will compete in Round 1. And, the 1st and 2nd seeded teams receive a round bye and will start in Round 2.
All the matches will be BO3 except for the lower bracket final, which will be a BO5. The Grand Final will be a BO7. However, things may undergo some changes depending on the qualification process.

Prize Pool
