DUKSAN Esports is crowned as the champion of PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2023 Season 3

The team has booked a slot in the upcoming PMGC 2023!

The professional PUBG Mobile Esports league in South Korea has ended today. With a total of 237 points by their name, DUKSAN Esports became the champion of the PUBG Mobile Pro Series (PMPS) 2023 Season 3. The runner-up, Dplus, was far behind in the race to the top as they had to stop with only 151 points. Besides winning the event, the champion team has also grabbed a seat in the upcoming world event of PUBG Mobile Esports, the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2023.

The champion team’s journey in the PMPS 2023 Season 3

With a total of 16 teams, the event started on the 12th of August 2023. The regular season was held in two phases where ZZ emerged as the winner. However, the teams, then, joined the grand finals. 18 rounds were played in the grand finals where the champion team took 5 matches alone, the highest among all.

The champion of the PMPS 2023 season 3 started the first day of the grand finals being the second. Later that day, they were too overpowered for the others and ended up in the top position with two WWCDs by their name. Collecting 92 total points, they finished in the top. Dplus was the second in the points table.

As the second day ended, the champion took them out of the reach of other contenders as they were with 160 points while the second team on the table, Nongshim RedForce, was only with 96 points. However, on the final day of the event, the table changed a bit, and Dplus, ZZ, and Vega Esports managed to stay in the top four.

DUKSAN Esports took majority of the Prize Pool home

₩70,000,000 (almost $54,000) was awarded to the teams as the prize pool of the event. Winning the champion title has made DUKSAN Esports the highest taker of all. The team bagged ₩40,000,000 (almost $30,500). They were followed by runner-up Dplus with ₩12,000,000 (almost $9,500) in their pocket and ZZ with their hands on a sum of ₩10,000,000 (almost $7,600). The top 8 teams were qualified for the PUBG Mobile Rivals Cup 2023 which will start in October.

JUNI came up as the MVP of the event and was awarded an additional ₩1,000,000 (almost $800). However, as the PMGC 2023 is coming near, fans will be waiting to watch their favorite teams in action. Being the champion of the PMPS 2023 season 3, DUKSAN Esports fans will hope the same. We have to wait until the PMGC 2023 ends to watch how the team performs on the global stage.
