EA and Nexon to release FC Mobile in Korea and Japan this September 2023

FIFA Mobile Korea and Japan is getting rebranded and integrated into the FC ecosystem!

EA and Nexon‘s partnership isn’t new and the two have collaborated in the past to introduce a localized version of FIFA Mobile exclusively for South Korea, and Japan. With FIFA Mobile getting a facelift and rebranding to FC Mobile with a new logo, Nexon has also announced the same for its Asian counterparts. EA Sports FC Mobile, published by Nexon is set to release this September 2023 in South Korea, and Japan.

Additionally, in a recent press release, the famous Asian Publisher Nexon has also announced the update in title and logo for FIFA Online 4, the fan-favorite PC-exclusive title available as an online counterpart of the game in the Asian markets. From the coming September 2023, FIFA Online 4 will be officially rebranded to EA Sports FC Online!

FC Mobile aims to bring authentic football gameplay to Korea and Japan

In a recently held FC Mobile showcase video, from Nexon, it’s been revealed that like its global counterpart, EA Sports FC Mobile aims to keep its tradition of delivering the complete experience of the game in Korea and Japan as it’s played in real life. The game comes loaded with EA’s unique licensing portfolio which includes more than 19,000 players, 700 teams, 100 venues, and 30 leagues, will include fully licensed football leagues including the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League.

Besides, FC Mobile Korea and Japan promise to emphasize player abilities and physical effects during the game thereby incorporating True Player Personality recently introduced in the FC Mobile beta. The devs have also targeted to stress how users can easily strategize their defenses during the game.

There will be new Impact Controls and the introduction of a new Elite Shooting System along with new dynamic Camera angles that makes your gameplay feel like a true football match. Additionally, unlike previous years, where Heung-min Son was the cover star for FIFA Mobile Korea, the game will now have a common and global cover star with the Real Madrid starlet VinĆcius JĆŗnior being the face of this year’s FC Mobile.

Nexon and EA are set to release EA Sports FC Mobile in South Korea and Japan this September 2023. The global release is also expected in the same period as EA Sports FC 24, the game’s console counterpart going global on September 29, 2023. Released in 2020, FIFA Mobile Korea and Japan had already spent three successful years in the Asian mobile games industry and have more than doubled its player base since the 2022 World Cup. FC Mobile has already started its beta in the selected regions of Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and Romania.
