Electronic Arts has announced the soft launch of its co-op life-sim title, The Sims Lab: Life Together, now available on iOS in the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden. Previously known as City Life Game with Friends, the new entry to the Sims franchise held an Android playtest in select regions in April.
Explore a fresh take on the Sims world, walk the runway, and more
It seems like Project Rene, the Sims spinoff, is almost finished and now carries the name, The Sims Lab: Life Together. So, this mobile version surfaced after a playtest when testers spotted it, followed by a development update in 2023. And now, you can create your own Sim here and explore the city.

Here, you can also walk the runway in Fashion Passion and join other party games with friends like the Secret Sim, all while working toward unlocking your first apartment as a stylist. And as someone who loved the earlier Sims and drifted away from the newer ones, this feels like a great way to get back in.
I also like how many activities it offers, including running your own cafe, completing quests, and even discovering new outfits at the Thrift Shop. Overall, the game is looking promising at the moment, and the fashion show element even reminds me a little of Roblox’s hit title, Dress to Impress.
So, as you play your final moments in The Sims Mobile, which is shutting down on January 20, 2026, you’ve got something new to look forward to with The Sims Lab: Life Together, which is now available in soft launch on iOS in the Netherlands, Italy, and Sweden. You can download it via the App Store.
