ELECTRONIC ARTS has announced the soft launch of their building sim, The Sims Labs: Town Stories, now available on both Android and iOS in the Philippines, Australia, and South Africa. Part of The Sims Labs, under the popular Sims franchise, it previously held a playtest on Android in Australia.
Enjoy a new life in Plumbrook with your Sims as you build the perfect town
It looks like Sims fans are being spoiled by EA with all these surprise soft launches. Right after The Sims Lab: Life Together, the co-op life-sim arrived on iOS a few days back; you can now jump into The Sims Lab: Town Stories, which brings a charming building sim experience with it.
Set in the picturesque town of Plumbrook, you step in as a new resident ready to shape the place into a special town with a vibrant community. And you can create your own Sims, guide their stories, and design everything from your home to the entire community blocks. As you progress through narrative quests, you’ll find new areas too.
Players can meet iconic characters and explore hidden secrets
I personally like the approach of this one, as it blends storytelling with cozy town building like SimsCity in a way that feels nostalgic but still new. That said, I want to meet the quirky residents who play key roles here, like recurring ones like Bella Goth, Bob Pancakes, Torajiro, Ms. Nicole Vogue, to the new inventor, Gizmo Cogspin.
To summarise, the game looks both charming and definitely worth trying if you enjoy fun quests, rich narrative, and interactions. I mean, you can do a lot of stuff, right from customizing your dream home, uncovering secrets and scandals, to even exploring second chances within the community. The sad part is it’s not live in my region yet, so I’m hoping for a global launch soon.
The Sims Labs: Town Stories is now available on both Android and iOS in the Philippines, Australia, and South Africa. You can now download the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store.
