- The Sims Labs will explore new experimental ways to play The Sims
- Sims 5 or Project Rene playtests might be the first to be featured in the platform
- The EA Playtesting Portal is open for sign-ups
The ever-popular Sims franchise is taking this up a notch as the publisher of the franchise, Electronic Arts has arrived with a new creation called The Sims Labs. This will be a playtesting program specifically focused on the hit simulation franchise and is currently open for pre-registration.
The Sims Labs presents a great opportunity to get a perfect game without flaws
Discussing the details of The Sims Labs, this is created to explore new experimental ways to play The Sims. This program allows players to sign up for playing and testing, giving them a chance to check and provide feedback on different features tried out across both current and future Sims products.
This is aimed at building a perfect game, cutting out flaws and unwanted gameplay elements. The announcement is kind of unexpected, but a necessary change surely. This makes not just the content creators have a go at the playtest build, but also the loyal fans of the franchise.
With the Sims 5 (or Project Rene, as it is called) in the works, this platform seems to be a great opportunity to collect the reviews in the testing phase and come up with the necessary changes as the development progresses. The Sims 5 Mobile was confirmed back in late 2022 and is currently in development.
As of now, we only have the overview and do not have in-depth details. Currently, the sign-ups are open on the official website. To sign in to the EA Playtesting Portal, it is necessary to have an EA Account, which you can create here. By signing up, you will get the opportunity to playtest these experimental features and provide feedback. If you are selected, further instructions will be sent via email.
