After an exciting tournament where we could see each team going head to head for the title of the champions of the Phillippines, ECHO came out on top and has been crowned as the champion of Mobile Legends MPL-PH Season 11. The team defeated Blacklist International in the Grand Finals with a score of 4-0.
The tournament was organized by MOONTON Games at the Shooting Gallery Studio and SMX Convention Center in the Phillippines. The tournament featured a total prize pool of $150,000 USD.
Mobile Legends MPL- PH Season 11: ECHO’s Route to Victory
Throughout the tournament, we witnessed many brilliant performances by almost all the big teams. In the Regular Season, Bren Esports topped the leaderboard in the round-robin format and qualified for the playoffs with 31 pts. On the other hand, the champions, ECHO came second in the leaderboard with a total of 29 pts.
ECHO did not have a very nice start to the playoffs stage. The team lost against RSG Slate PH with a score of 3-2 in their first playoff match. In the lower bracket, they went against Bren Esports and RSG Slate PH where they won both matches with a scoreline of 3-1 and 3-2 respectively.
The runners-up, Blacklist International however had an impressive playoff run where they won every match in a dominating fashion. The team beat Omega Esports, Bren Esports, and RSG Slate PH with a score line of 3-0, 3-1, and 3-1 respectively to reach the Grand Finals against ECHO. However, Blacklist International showed a very disappointing performance in the Grand Finals as they lost every map against ECHO.
