eFootball 2026 continues to shake things up with its October 2025 update following maintenance. This time, the spotlight is on the new Link-Up playstyle introduced with the Frank Rijkaard Manager pack, alongside fresh Epic and Show Time cards that promise to spice up gameplay.

New Link-Up Playstyle: Over-the-Top Pass B
His Link-Up Play, Over-the-Top Pass B, has debuted with the new update. Kind of similar to Over-the-Top Pass A, this style of linkup lets the Key Man push forward aggressively whenever the Centrepiece has the ball in the defensive half. Passes, chipped balls, and trapping abilities are more accurate.
When you see this style, you can see that it makes it ideal for fast, attacking play and long-ball strategies. The Centrepiece is an Orchestrator CMF, while the Key Man can operate as a Prolific Winger at LWF or RWF positions, giving players more flexibility in attack.
New Manager: Frank Rijkaard
The update introduces Frank Rijkaard as a new Manager available in the Over-the-Top Pass B style. Just like Fabio Capello, he is available for 750 coins. He gets proficiency in Quick Counter and Out Wide, both with a 89 rating, with +1 boosts to Tight Possession and Balance.
New Epic and Show Time Cards
The update also brings a batch of new Epics and Show Time picks. Legendary names like Ronaldinho Gaúcho and Mark van Bommel headline the pack, featuring Show Time skills such as Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst for the former, and the latter getting Phenomenal Pass.
Show Time stars include Rodri and Jérémy Doku, again, two really good picks here. Rodri gets Phenomenal Pass and Long-Range Tackle, as Momentum Dribbling for Doku is another excellent skill.
