Being from FIFA themselves, the game comes fully FIFPRO-licensed, meaning you should be able to play with authentic real-life footballers with their accurate play styles and likenesses. FIFA Heroes comes as the next arcade title after FIFA Rivals and Matchday Champions, having the official FIFA license and branding after FIFA’s rift with EA two years ago.
FIFA Heroes will come with a FIFA World Cup 2026 game mode with mascots
FIFA Heroes is presented as a fast-paced, 5-a-side match packed with dramatic physics, power moves, and plenty of fun. You can build a team that brings together beloved football personalities, iconic fictional characters, and FIFA mascots spanning decades.

The game offers both PvE career challenges and PvP battles against friends. One of the big highlights is the FIFA World Cup 2026 mode, where you’ll get to play with the official mascots of the upcoming tournament: Maple (Canada), Zayu (Mexico), and Clutch (United States).
Christian Volk, Director of Gaming and Esports at FIFA, said: “With FIFA Heroes, fans can create a multiverse team: mixing their treasured fictional heroes, favourite players, and our own mascots. We’re offering the love of football to a new generation, while rekindling the nostalgia and fun for families and older players who’ve grown up with FIFA.”
Designed as a fun, arcade experience, the title looks promising with a fresh idea ahead. More details are expected to arrive soon. Just the launch year has been confirmed now. Stay tuned on the official website and Discord server for updates.
