Week 1: September 01 to September 07

Executive Summary

The first week of September 2025 delivered a variety of new pre-registrations, global releases, betas, and shutdown news. INFINITY BULLETS, My City, Backyard Football ’99, and Medieval Baghdad launched globally, while Kingdom Rush Battles was confirmed for October.

Pre-registrations opened for BrambleBound, The Ninth Relic, The Kingdom: Medieval Tales, MU: Pocket Knights, Volley Girls, and Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control, alongside Ubisoft’s Might & Magic Fates TCG. Soft launches included Resident Evil Survival Unit, while Ubisoft also rolled out a The Division Resurgence Closed Beta in Romania.

The week also brought major updates like the MLBB M7 World Championship heading to Indonesia, Bandai Namco’s DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour 2026 announcement, and Nexon addressing the Blue Archive Koyukification hack. On the flip side, shutdowns were confirmed for Ride Kamens and Tarisland.

Week 2: September 08 to September 14

Executive Summary

The second week of September 2025 had little to share in terms of mobile gaming news. TED Tumblewords, Anchor Panic, and Soccer Manager 2026 went live globally, while Football Manager 26 locked in its November 4 release.

Pre-registration began for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and Honkai: Nexus Anima, with Com2uS unveiling Star Sailors closed beta and Krafton kicking off Astro Arena alpha testing.

On the soft launch side, Tower Dominion, Golf Star 2, and Police Chief made regional debuts, while Sailing the Winds expanded to iOS. Meanwhile, industry updates included PUBG UNITED 2025 esports unification, Arknights: Endfield early 2026 launch window, and XD Games’ Heartopia announcement for 2026.

Week 3: September 15 to September 21

Executive Summary

Another decent week, AutoChess Hero, Tom and Jerry Blast, Angry Birds Rush, Shadowborn, and Sunday City entered early access or soft launch, while Elpis: Fallen Star and Katana Dragon confirmed late-September release dates.

UNO Wonder, The Palace on the Hill, Morikomori Life, and Buried Stars also saw mobile debuts. Announcements included DRAGON QUEST Smash/Grow closed beta and a new Hanazono Serena visual novel, while Blue Protocol: Star Resonance locked in October 9 launch.

Pre-registrations also opened for Chess Rumble, Pine Hearts, and Stella Sora, alongside Kakao’s NOVAFRONT soft launch in the Philippines. Apple made headlines with Safari full-screen browser gaming coming in iOS 26.

Week 4: September 22 to September 28

Executive Summary

The fourth week saw Tower Rush, Motor Speed Traffic 3D, Runes of Legend, and Fire Emblem Shadows launched globally, while Chaos Zero Nightmare and m00m world confirmed October release dates. Pre-registration began for Brave Frontier Versus.

Jurassic War Survival, NOVAFRONT, Inkvasion, and Cross Gate: Adventure got their soft launches. There were some new game announcements: Harukanaru Toki no Naka de winter release, Girls Band Cry: First Riff, and Kadokawa’s Shield Hero game adaptation.

Updates brought ANANTA gameplay reveal, RAVEN2 showcase, Kojima Productions x Niantic collab, Petit Planet from HoYoverse revealed with a closed beta, and Angry Birds’ China comeback. NetEase also confirmed Racing Master’s Latam launch for October 29, while Ninja Arashi 2 expansion paved way for its sequel.

Week 5: September 29 to September 30

Executive Summary

The short last two days of September brought two major headlines. Electronic Arts confirmed its $55 billion acquisition deal, taking the company private in one of the largest gaming buyouts ever. Meanwhile, HoYoverse filed the “HoYoLand” trademark, sparking speculation on a potential theme park.
