Final Fantasy XIV mobile retains the core gameplay and storytelling of the original PC MMORPG
The MMORPG also saw the mobile reveal trailer unveiled in November last year, showcasing the gameplay elements and a bonus scene at the end. There, it was also confirmed that Final Fantasy XIV mobile will first roll out in China, following which the global release will take place.

The Final Fantasy series has long been known for its deep storytelling, emotional characters, and iconic world-building. The decade-old FFXIV coming to mobile will bring us the experience of Eorzea while maintaining the core elements of the original, including its story and battle content.
According to the iOS App Store listing, the game is set to release on August 29, 2025, where you can also pre-register for the game. Currently, no information regarding the global release has been shared with us by the developers.
Since the release is focused on China, players in the region can also sign up for Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World pre-registration through the official website. Also, it’s a good way to stay updated with any new announcements or news before the game goes live.
