What is the Payday mode in Blood Strike

Payday is the latest game mode the devs have incorporated in Blood Strike. It serves as a challenging gameplay with an intense environment to run and kill for gold. The Payday mode is carried out on the Shutter Island. So, it is not difficult for the players to get familiar with the area map.

The objective of the mode is to gather as much Cash as possible before the timer runs out. The team with the highest amount becomes the richest team in the match. You can score cash from ATMs scattered around the map, Bounty air drops that drop periodically, or steal a good sum directly from enemies you kill. You can also get some from the Supply Chests and Deposit boxes around the map.

Throughout the match, the team along with the player with the highest cash will be marked on the map. You can respawn and revive as many times as you want but don’t fall for this as each revival will cost you cash. The teams that secure the first and the second positions will split the received bonus prize.

As the match intensifies, the bonus increases in value. Activities like killing, shopping, and requesting Airdrops will cause a rise in the prize pool. Thus, it is necessary to collect as much cash as you can and safeguard it before danger approaches. In the below points, I’ve explained how exactly you can do so.

How to get and maximize your cash in Blood Strike Payday mode

1. ATMs Around the Map

To effectively collect cash in the Blood Strike payday mode, you require a mix of aggression and caution. For the same, you should keep an eye out for the ATMs marked on your map. The map indicates the ATM with a dollar sign icon are primary targets for gaining quick and easy cash.

Each ATM in the mode can hold over an amount of 300,000 dollars. However, to access the funds, you’ll have to destroy the ATMs with your attacks. Be quick in your actions and move from ATM to ATM to build up a significant amount of cash because other players would be lurking around to do the same.

2. Occasional Bounty Air Drops

Though the Bounty Airdrops are occasional in the mode, they do appear a fair amount of times. So, don’t overlook the diamond icons marked on the map. These airdrops appear from time to time and have a hefty cash amount to offer for a boost. To claim the amount, you must stay within the circle around the airdrop for 10 seconds.

Only then you can stash their cash. The Bounty Airdrops come with a risk of attracting other players for the same loot. Each airdrop contains around 500,000 dollars and hence is a substantial reward. You need to dodge irrelevant fights while securing your cash from these drops.

3. Take Down Enemies for Cash

Eliminating your opponents is a solid way to gather cash. Taking down your enemies will make them drop cash that you can acquire after you kill them. For an extra boost, you should use an execution to confirm their fall. This will also grant you additional cash for your attacks.

This method is generally more risky than the above two because you’re directly involving yourself with your opponent strikers. However, it’s an excellent way to stash a significant amount of cash. The cash will increase rapidly if you can take out multiple enemies quickly. In case, you happen to target the richest marked striker, be prepared for an intense combat.

How to protect your Cash in Blood Strike Payday mode

1. Drones at Deposit Points

If you’re carrying a lump sum, it is important to safeguard your cash. After collecting the cash, you need to secure it using the drones at deposit points for safety. You cannot take the risk to be eliminated before you deposit your cash. That will cost you all your hard-earned cash.

So, it is necessary to make deposits regularly at the nearest drone deposit point. Especially if you’re carrying large amounts of cash, it’s always better to secure the smaller amounts to avoid losing your earnings. The deposit points are marked as a piggy bank icon on the map.

2. Keep an eye on the Richest Player

Always stay attentive and keep an eye on the map to see the richest player. That particular player will be marked which implies that you can track them down and try to steal their cash. This comes down with heavy risk because your opponent can be challenging. Also, the other teams will do the same, so be prepared for some fierce competition. So, use your skills in the best possible manner to avoid backfire.

3. Avoid being Marked as the Richest Player for Too Long

When you’re on the target list, it becomes a survival tactic to stay mobile. Also, avoid being marked the richest player for too long since you’re a prime target of your enemies for stealing cash. In such a case, your main goal should be to move towards the nearest deposit point. By doing this, you’re ridding yourself of the marker and also safeguarding your cash.

You can always use grenades and defensive strikers to ensure cover at the deposit point. If your team is the richest team and any of you requests a deposit drone, all other players will be notified of your location. So, communicate well with your team as a well-coordinated team can manage risks better. I would advise playing with friends or a reliable squad to get a significant edge over teams with random matchmade players.

4. Manage Respawn Times

Another thing you must avoid is respawning very often. No matter how many times you can respawn, you need to keep a check on it. When you respawn, each time it’ll cost you 15,000 cash and hence I would strongly advise avoiding unnecessary expenses.

Everything else in this mode, ranging from medications to UAVs and loadouts, is costlier as compared to normal battle royale mode. So, you need to balance how much you’re spending on respawns when you’re in a highly challenging combat to earn and protect your earnings.

Use this information to move forward aggressively but strategically to pursue additional cash. That’s all for our detailed Blood Strike Payday mode piece! Hope the tips suit you well and you emerge victorious!
