Fortnite is a fast-paced action-based Battle Royale game by Epic Games where 100 players need to fight against each other to survive till the end of the match and come out victorious. In its last 5 years of existence, the game has been able to garner a huge following of loyal players who play the game regularly. To commemorate the 5th anniversary of Fortnite, Epic Games is reportedly going to host a celebration with a birthday cake which will be found all around the map just like last year.
Leaked footage reveals 5th-anniversary birthday cake might be consumable
The cake might come to the game on September 26, 2022, which is the 5th anniversary of Fortnite. A German Fortnite data miner named MinaRado shared a clip on Twitter that reveals the look of the game. It appears to be consumable which means it might act as some kind of a boost to the player’s health or provide some kind of advantage to them in the game.
Looking over the last anniversary celebrations of Fortnite, we’ve seen that the developers have added various challenges to the game in which players can participate and win weapon wraps, emoticons, and back bling. They also add new items to Fortnite Creative such as props, prefabs, and maps created in unique patterns to celebrate the birthday.
The anniversary celebrations might begin with Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4
Players will most probably wait till the start of Chapter 3 Season 4 of Fortnite for the arrival of the birthday cake. The new season starts on September 18, 2022, and there have been reports about how spooky it is going to be which further means that the birthday celebration might not happen in that season as it might be weird to celebrate something fun in a creepy environment for the players.
The date of the new season and Fortnite’s birthday come closer and closer and as Epic Games have not announced anything officially yet, the players will need to wait and see whether they will get the chance to eat the birthday cake in a gloomy and creepy environment or a fun and cheerful environment.
