Fortnite is an action-packed battle royale game from Epic Games. Each year they come up with several seasonal events which reward players with a lot of new cosmetics and experience for their battle pass. And now, Lantern Fest comes returning in 2023, lighting up Fortnite with Lantography, Sandstorm Riddles, and more. In Fortnite Lantern Fest 2023, which takes place from March 22 to April 21, it’s time to spread the light.
Complete the island’s challenges to unlock the in-game rewards
This year brings the special Lantern Fest Tour island made by Illusion Creative, complete with palm trees, camels, lanterns, a desert, and skyscrapers. COMING SOON.
Complete this island’s challenges (Sand is Lava Parkour, Race Rumble, Flawless Fashion, and more) to unlock these in-game rewards:
- Lantern Spray
- Cameo Needs Loot Emoticon
- Dog Eat Dog Spray
- Twilight Mosaic Wrap
This is only a portion of the creative island; part 2 will be attached on April 6, 2023, at 10 AM EST, bringing even more difficulties and vistas to take in.
Lantography contest will be available in the Fortnite Lantern Fest 2023
Share your best screenshot of the virtual lanterns that will be strung up around BR Island to join the celebration!
To enter the Lantern Fest 2023 Fortography Contest, players will have to follow Fortnite on Twitter and upload the finest screenshot using the #LantographyContest2023 hashtag. The Fortnite “Cameo Needs Loot” Emoticon will be distributed to the top 15 entries.
The Lantern Fest 2023 Fortography Contest submission period will run from March 23, 2023 at 2:00 PM ET until March 30, 2023 at 4:00 PM ET. Each participant is only allowed to submit one entry, and all contest submissions must be submitted during the submission time. Participants must be at least 13 years old to participate.

Get your squad together and compete in the xxYJYxx 2023 Cup on April 7! The top-performing squads will get their share of a $20,000 prize pool! Specific timing for your region can be found in the Compete tab in-game. Furthermore, SypherPK, the creator, streamer, and warrior is coming back to Fortnite for Lantern Fest! SypherPK’s Icon Series Outfit will return to the Item Shop on March 21st at 8Pm ET.
