João ‘Flakes Power’ Sampaio, a popular content creator from Brazil and founder of the creative team Herobase, arrives as the newest member of the Fortnite Icon Series! Flakes Power’s Icon Series Set will be available on February 25 at 7 PM ET, but players can participate in the Super Flakes Cup starting February 23 for an opportunity to unlock the Flakes Power Outfit, Electric Crescents Pickaxe, and Electro-Crest Back Bling early. Enjoy several hand-picked islands, including Flakes Deathrun 3.0, while rotating in the Epic Pick’s Discover row with your friends!
Fortnite brings Flakes Power outfits, pickaxes, and more as part of the Icon series
Some heroes don’t wear capes, instead, they sport lightning bolts and cartoonish faces like Flakes Power! On February 25, 2023, at 7 PM ET, the Flakes Power Outfit becomes available in the Item Shop.
This Outfit offers the realistic Phantom Power Style in addition to the normal Style. To swap between the two on the fly, use the Get Flakey Emote feature incorporated into Flakes Power! Also, turn on the Outfit’s glow in the Locker to illuminate the competition. The following Flakes Power accessories will be in the Shop, and will also include the Phantom Power alt Style:
- Electro-Crest Back Bling: Let ‘em know who they are up against. (Included with the Flakes Power Outfit.)
- Electric Crescents Pickaxe: Flakes’ ultra-modular pickaxe of choice.

Team up with your partners in the Super Flakes Cup
For the Super Flakes Cup, go get your Duos partner. On February 23, participate in this Duos Zero Build event for the chance to rank among the top scorers in your area and unlock the Flakes Power Outfit, Electric Crescents Pickaxe, and Electro-Crest Back Bling before they are available in the Item Shop.
Moreover, you can unlock the Flakes Tag Spray and the Hello! Hello! Emoticon by collecting at least eight and sixteen points, respectively, in the tournament. Competitors can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window, and the specific event timing for each region can be found in the Compete tab in-game. Scoring will follow the format below:
- Victory Royale: 25 Points
- 2nd: 22 Points
- 3rd: 20 Points
- 4th: 18 Points
- 5th: 17 Points
- 6th: 16 Points
- 7th: 15 Points
- 8th: 14 Points
- 9th: 13 Points
- 10th: 12 Points

Players must be at Account Level 15 or higher and have Two-Factor Authentication enabled and verified on their Epic account in order to take part. (Under the “Career” page of Fortnite, your Account Level may be found.) The Super Flakes Cup is not open to players who have locked accounts.
