Fortnite teases Obi-Wan Kenobi skin as part of a crossover with Star Wars

May the fourth be with you!

To celebrate Star Wars Day, Fortnite is up with their new event and has teased that Obi-Wan Kenobi should be making an entry into the battle royale title. With lightsabers and E-11 Blaster Rifles, the game is getting a whole Star Wars makeover with Stormtroopers now appearing on the map.

This would be Fortnite’s second Star Wars collaboration, with Kylo, Ren, Ray, and Boba Fett skins being sold last time. And they’re up for grabs again. As the mouth-watering leak shows, there might be the Obi-Wan skin coming as well.

Epic Games released a short trailer teasing the possible arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi

Epic Games released a short trailer not too long ago showcasing all the new features and gizmos that are upcoming. Though the video was pretty short, being an 18-second clip, the most tantalizing part was the end of the clip, teasing us with what seemed like Obi-Wan. This is something every Fortnite-playing Star Wars fan would look forward to.

Fortnite’s Star Wars event launched on the 3rd of May with the 20.30 patch which transposes the war between the IO and the Seven to Tilted Towers and readjusts shotguns as well among loads of other updates.

The new skin could be a result of collaboration with Disney+’s new series

The Obi-Wan Kenobi series premieres on May 27, 2022, on Disney+ with two episodes. With the massive success of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, which were released back in 2021, this could be yet another one for the win when it comes to amazing shows. So players and fans can relax and expect a fun ride, be it in Fortnite or Disney+.
