Since its inception, Fortnite has been known for its extensive collaborations with well-known franchises. Collaborations have a significant impact on how successful Epic Games‘ battle royale game has remained among its players and maintained their attention over the years. Fortnite’s Chapter 3 just came to a close, and gamers were excitedly awaiting the release of Chapter 4 Season 1. Now, recent leaks suggest a new collaboration of Fortnite with My Hero Academia, and the new launch video confirms it.
Chapter 4 Season 1 trailer has confirmed two characters from My Hero Academia coming to Fortnite
Another anime collaboration is coming to Fortnite in just 5 months, which is sure to be exciting for the fans. Back in August 2022, the game partnered with Dragon Ball Z, which was a delight for anime fans playing the game.
A popular Japanese data miner on Fortnite named HYPEX posted on Twitter about the possible collaboration between the two franchises which was later confirmed in the launch trailer of Chapter 4 where characters from the famous anime can be seen in it
The trailer for Chapter 4 confirmed two characters from My Hero Academia namely Deku, and Izuku Midoriya respectively. During the previous Dragon Ball Z collaboration, the skills, and abilities of the famous characters such as Kamehamehas were added to the game as items and players to acquire and then perform them.
Looking at the trailer, we can see Deku performing a powerful smash that tore down a building which has kept fans wondering if abilities like these will be once again made available in Fortnite or not. The other Boku No Hero Academia characters who might yet make an appearance in the game but haven’t been confirmed yet include Shot Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochako Uraraka, Denki Kaminari, and Shota Aizawa. But Fortnite hasn’t yet seen any of the confirmed skins either.
We can anticipate the skins to enter the game with an event in the following few weeks given that the new Chapter 4 is now only in its first week.
