Fortnite x Street Fighter collaboration brings new Outfits, Tournaments, and more

Two new characters coming in with epic rewards from the tournaments!

World Warriors Blanka and Sakura are taking a break from the crane game to reach for victory on Fortnite Island! Later this week, you’ll be able to purchase their Outfits and accessories in the Item Shop to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Street Fighter. Two more Street Fighter combatants are heading to Fortnite in the Fortnite x Street Fighter collaboration that brings new Outfits, Tournaments, and more, and players will have the opportunity to compete for the Sakura and Blanks cosmetics in two forthcoming tournaments.

The first two Street Fighter characters debuted in Fortnite in February of 2021. Ryu and Chun-Li are two of the most well-known Street Fighter characters. As a result, their debut was well-received, with many players preferring Chun-smaller Li’s physical appearance to Ryu’s massive strong physique.

Despite the fact that seeing them with weaponry is a little strange, they fit in nicely with Fortnite’s scenario. And now, two more Street Fighter legends have now entered the fray. Blanka is a beast, and Sakura is a master of martial arts.

Fortnite x Street Fighter collaboration Release date

Starting from Thursday, April 29th at 8 p.m. EST, both the Sakura and Blanka sets will be available in the Item Shop as a part of this collaboration. They’ll be available in the Item Shop and maybe bought using V-Bucks.

Sakura and Blanka Fortnite cosmetics will be available in this collaboration

Blanka is a green beast-man that has been a part of the Street Fighter franchise since the beginning. As a result, he’ll be bringing a lot of cosmetics to Fortnite which comes with the Blanka Delgado. Blanka will be available in two different styles: regular Blanka and Blanka Delgado.

A reminder of home, the Sakura Outfit includes the Hanakaze Claw Back Bling. Players can also purchase her Fighting Tournament Trophy pickaxe and Kayari Buta glider.

Earn epic rewards in the Blanka and Sakura Cup tournaments

Players can compete for early access to cosmetics in two separate Blanks and Sakura tournaments. Normally, for crossovers like these, there is just one event, however, the Blanka and Sakura Cup has a mobile-only tournament.

On April 27th, there will be a mobile-only Zero Build Solo Cup, and on April 28th, there will be a Battle Royale Solo Cup for all platforms. The Bonus Stage Loading Screen will be unlocked by the top performers in each region in each version.
