Free Fire: Don’t fall for the free Toss Diamond Hoop diamond scam

No, you can't get diamonds for free

Whenever something becomes popular, scams rise up around it, one such similar is the free diamonds scam of Free Fire. It is common knowledge at this point that Free Fire, an extremely popular battle royale mobile game, is a major target of people who’re looking to profit from scamming others. And the latest scam that has popped up got circulated quickly and is used to make a fool out of people. Toss Diamond Hoop is the latest scam that has hit the market. It’s a hyper-casual game that requires you to tap on a ball to send it into a hoop and that triggers coins to fall out, and you get points. It’s a mix of classic arcade machine games but isn’t really fun since you just keep tapping the same thing and the rest happens automatically. The game rewards you with in-game gold and diamonds, which really don’t have any purpose.

If you were to visit the game’s page on the Google Play Store page, you’d probably see yet another badly made low-effort cash grab with a very dumb name. However, for whatever reason, a low-effort video game has a million downloads. This is definitely confusing, but it all clears up with a simple YouTube search. Players were to search up “free Free Fire diamonds” you’d find hundreds of thousands of videos claiming to help you get free diamonds. All of them are low production quality and usually follow the same template.

Players can’t get Free Fire’s Diamonds for free from Toss Diamond Hoop

Now if you add “Toss Diamond Hoops” to the search as well, you’d find more videos teaching you how to use this tool to get free diamonds. You cannot get Free Fire diamonds for free. Diamonds are virtual assets that can be acquired by buying them in the game. One cannot in any shape or form get diamonds for free unless Garena is feeling generous with Free Fire, so this is a leading scam that players fall as a trap.

Toss Diamond Hoops is just a video game where you keep tapping a button. No challenge or anything. And it doesn’t claim to give you diamonds for Free Fire, but there’s something shady going on here too. Another game from the publishers of this Diamond Hoops called 2048 Cube Winner-Aim to Win Diamond also has 10 million plus downloads despite being a dumb game.

The diamonds are game’s currency

It seems that the games from Flowerplasm usually have diamonds as a currency, and YouTubers take advantage of this to create clickbait content. Flowerplasm might also be involved, since they profit from the traffic getting diverted to the game and all of their titles are in early access. This basically means that you can’t leave public reviews, so even if it’s a bad game being used for scams, there’s little that anyone can say.

The target audience is usually young kids and other gullible people who play video games and want premium items but can’t afford them. They’re the ones who fall into the deep rabbit holes and get stuck in endless loops to somehow get some free diamonds. Which they never do.

So the main takeaway here is to not believe everything on the internet and to not fall for scams willing to help you get paid in-game currency for free. Usually, they’re a waste of time and no one profits from it except for the scammers.
