Garena has announced the global release of their new immersive Free Fire playing experience, Free Fire MAX. Free Fire MAX, which will begin pre-registrations from the 29th of August, 2021, will offer players various enhancements in gameplay. It will be a standalone mobile application that will offer users the same battle-royale gameplay, with better graphics and gameplay to people across the world.

Free Fire MAX: New enhanced features
Free Fire MAX will offer users around the world an optimized Free Fire experience with enhanced graphics and features. With an in-app customizable map feature after its release, players will be able to enjoy the same Free Fire content and gameplay, with enhanced graphics and features. This includes more realistic maps, more immersive gameplay, and exclusive features only meant for Free Fire MAX.
Firelink technology to facilitate interoperability between Free Fire and Free Fire MAX
The app is supported by Firelink technology, which is Free Fire’s in-house technology that enables complete interoperability between Free Fire MAX and Free Fire. This will enable players to:
- Use their same existing Free Fire account to log in to Free Fire MAX.
- Sync all accounts data, including account progress and game items – across both applications.
- Play all game modes with all Free Fire players, regardless of the application that they use.
Pre-registrations are opening soon
Pre-registrations for Free Fire MAX will be available to Google Play Store users across the world from Sunday, 29th of August, 2021.
Players can pre-register for Free Fire MAX on the Google Play Store and get notified as soon as Free Fire MAX is available and download the application automatically. Players can visit the pre-registration website event for exclusive bundles and collections.
Free Fire to celebrate their 4nniversary with an in-game event
The celebrations for Free Fire’s 4th anniversary will continue tomorrow on the 28th of August, 2021 with the in-game party for the players. The Clash Squad Cup will be live from the 28th of August to the 29th of August where Arena will see teams of 4 competing against other teams in Clash Squad mode.
Each team’s tier will be determined based on the players’ Clash Squad rank. Teams will play 3 matches, with rewards given based on the number of wins across the matches. Tickets used for the Arena will increase the quality of rewards received in the new game mode. Players on August 28th will also receive cube fragments. and get Like Mike’s character, Thiva, for free.
