Free Fire has been fixing many bugs and bringing new characters, attachments, and guns for making battle royale fun, meanwhile maintaining balanced gameplay. Garena brings their OB updates every 2 months. In Free Fire OB29 4NNIVERSARY update Garena has planned two official collaborations which are Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike (Dimitri Vegas and Greek famous DJ duo who are also Real brothers) and Sorriso Maroto (A popular Brazilian band originating from Brazil). Garena also will be adding new guns and a few weapon adjustments.

Free Fire OB29 official collaboration – Sorriso Maroto
The famous Brazilian band was ranked top 100 bands on daily basis and the top 40 bands on monthly basis. Sorriso Maroto was earlier named Maluquices which had a record of top views in the music video category in month November 2017. Their views in one month were 485.2K.
This band will be added in-game in the form of a weapon skin which will be FAMAS Sorriso Maroto (Evolutionary). The item of these collaborations will be added in-game from 5 to 19th August for Dimitri and 1st October for Sorriso Maroto’s evolutionary FAMAS. Moving on to new weapons and weapon balancing/adjustments.
Dimitri Vegas – New character
Two Greek brothers, who started their own DJ career together, resulting in a famous DJ duo named Dimitri and Like. They both were ranked the first position by DJ mags top 100’s in years 2015 and 2019 also they were ranked second in the year 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2020. They both will be added in the form of a character named Dimitri. With abilities (creating a 3.5-meter healing zone in which Allies can be healed, and downed allies can self revive themselves within 3.5 meters. The cooldown for Dimitri will be 85-60 seconds).

Thiva – New character
Thiva is another new character who will be joining Free Fire with this new 4NNIVERSARY update. With his special abilities, he can heal fallen teammates on the battlefield.

Character adjustements
- Jota’s Sustained Raids ability will recover 10/12/14/16/18/20% maximum HP when she knocks down an enemy
- Luqueta with his Hat Trick ability increases the max HP by 10/13/16/19/22/25 up to 50
- Shani’s Gear Recycle will restore 10/12/15/19/24/30% armor durability after every kill
- Alvaro’s Art of Demolition ability’s Explosive weapon damage has been increased to 10/12/14/16/18/20%
Sensei Tig – New pet
This new update is also introducing a brand new pet to Free Fire. Sensei Tig comes with the special ability called ‘Nimble Ninja’ that helps in reducing the duration of enemies’ man-marking skills.

Garena always tries to make their battle royale and game more and more balanced by adjusting the weapon’s stats and adding new and better weapons. The changes/addition are
New Weapon – AC80
The new upcoming marksman gun for the game will be AC80. This gun will have a very impressive armour penetration skill. Every second shot to the enemy will deal more damage and armour penetration than the first shot (150-200℅ increase in armour penetration). The minimum damage will be 50, rate of fire will be 0.45(slightly faster than dragonav).

Adjusted weapons
1. Uzi
The recently added secondary weapon was not a good weapon even for the secondary slot. So Garena decided to buff this weapon by increasing minimum damage by 8℅, a magazine by +2, and increased range by 10℅.

2. XM8
XM8, a gun was a very aggressive weapon when it was added but was nerfed again and again to an extent it was unusable, so Garena decided to fix their mistake while making it a balanced AR weapon. The weapon will be buffed in Rate Of Fire by 10℅ and recoil will be decreased By 5℅.

3. Spas12
Spas 12 is a weapon that has the highest damage and yet a very underused weapon because of its range and rate of fire. So Garena decided to fix this weapon by increasing its range by 12℅ and adding two attachments which are Muzzle and Scope.

4. Vector
Vector, again a weapon which was deadliest when it was added but Garena nerved this gun many times. So Garena is trying to fix this gun by giving its old range back(+5℅ range) and increasing movement speed by 10℅.

5. M1887
The best/overused Short gun which is deadliest in mid and short-range, Garena nerfed this by decreasing its Armour penetration by 6℅, Effective range by -8℅ and rate of fire by-5℅. New Attachments
There will be few new attachments that will also help in balancing weapons those attachments are
1. M4 chip
M4 (X, Y, Z) – One will increase the rate of fire, one will be Increase damage and one will increase Armour penetration.
2. AR magazine
The attachment will decrease ammo but will increase the rate of fire by 10-20℅
3. SMG Muzzle
This will increase the Range for all SMG guns by 20-30℅
4. Shotgun muzzle
With this attachment, the effective range will increase by 15-20℅. With this upcoming weapon, weapon balancing is complete. So players will be eager to know when their favorite CSR Rank will be reset, and what will be its Gold tier reward
Rank rewards in Free Fire OB29 4NNIVERSARY update
The upcoming clash squad rank season will be updated on 8th August. The reward for reaching Gold 3 will be Golden An94. The upcoming battle royale will also have few changes, the changes are rank point increased according to kills and reviving teammates.
New mode in Free Fire OB29 4NNIVERSARY update – Lone Wolf
The developers have been planning to add a new mode that was most requested by players which was 1v1 mode, Lone wolf. The new mode will introduce an exclusive set of guns and this mode will be available permanently from 8-10th August. Also, this mode will have a separate leader board where players can flex to their friends about their stats.
