There is finally an update on the release of Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile which was supposed to be released in the winter of 2022. The game has been confirmed to be released in the summer of 2022 with The first trailer of the game already out. In addition, the pre-registration of the game has also been opened by Square Enix. The game was originally announced in July, as part of the series’ 20th-anniversary celebrations.
What can players expect from Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile
First impressions of the game make it look like a fighting game, though the absence of an actual UI in the trailer makes it hard to tell whether the game would be some kind of a tag team battle. The main character Edward can alchemize weapons, along with the characters having their flashy finishers.
The trailer as of now only provides a preview of the early arcs and a glimpse of the final one. In 2018, Unison League was launched. It presented a few characters from the Fullmetal Alchemist anime but it was not officially based on the series.
With Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile being the game’s finalized name, for now, speculations suggest that the game will allow the players to play through the original story fully voiced, with the cast reprising their roles. Furthermore, the battles will be fought with characters rendered in 3DCG.
Pre-registrations for the game are already live
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile will be the first official mobile game of this legendary anime series that will be coming out on Android and iOS. Interested players can stay ahead of the curve and pre-register for the same from the game’s official website here.
The Pre-registration rewards go up to 500,000 users, offering enough currency for a total of 20 gacha draws and an SR Winry unit. However, their designs aren’t finalized at this moment. The typical giveaway campaign is likewise live to commemorate the start of pre-registrations, where two lucky fans can win themselves the complete set of the manga. All in all, it’s an exciting time ahead for the fans of the franchise!
