Genshin Impact’s beta for version 2.5 has already been live for quite some time now and with that comes the juicy leaks. The next upcoming version has a lot of Qol changes, details about the popular Yae Miko, and a supposedly new weekly boss who will be the Electro Archon Raiden Shogun. You can read all the details about the current Genshin Impact 2.5 leaks down below.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Leaks: New Character Yae Miko
Yae Miko is an upcoming five-star Electro character and is a catalyst user. The character is the Head Shire Maiden of Grand Narukami Shrine and a close friend of Raiden Shogun.

Her banner will arrive in the game just after the maintenance of version 2.5 ends, which should be on February 15, according to the virgin schedule. There are no leaks on which four-star characters will be paired with her banner. Leaks suggest she will fulfill the role of a Quick Swap/ Main DPS role.
Upcoming Quality of Life improvements
Each and every previous update always had some form of Qol changes, this time it is no different. The latest leaks indicate a few helpful changes, the first being artifact sorting can be done by two stat categories instead of the previous one category. This means players can easily find an Attack Sands with the highest energy recharge substat on it very easily.
Next, we have changes to item destruction, all the 1-star, 2-star, and 3-star weapons can be selected in one single click and then destroyed. So no need for manual selection after version 2.5.
The output settings will now have another option for surround sound, this feature has been requested for quite some time, and now devs have implemented this. Surround sound usually increases the immersion of the game with more adaptive sound, but we will have to see it in the future.
New Food Recipes
There are three new dishes that will be added in the 2.5 updates, and one of them is a Yae Miko’s specialty dish.
Fukuuchi Udon
- Effects: Revives the selected character.
- Restores 250–550 HP.

Description: Yae Miko’s specialty. The Fried Tofu in here is specially made by the solemn Lady Kitsune. It is said that if you eat it all at one go with sincerity in your heart, you will have the protection of the Great Kitsune — misfortune shall flee and fortune abound!
Sangayaki
- Effects: Decreases Stamina depleted by sprinting for all party members by 15–25% for 900s.
- In Co-Op Mode, this effect only applies to your own characters.

Description: A simple, humble fisherman’s side dish. Full of nutrition and flavor. The lightly charred, yellowed exterior wraps the tender insides — providing two pleasures at once! The fish paste was already quite delectable raw, and the charcoal grilling only makes it better.
Udon Noodlesi
- Effects: Revives the selected character.
- Restores 250–550 HP.

Description: Highly springy noodles. The snow-white, soft yet elastic udon and the elegantly flavored soup combine to make a simple but comforting dish. The faintest scent of wheat may eventually travel down into your belly together with the sweet noodles, but the aftertaste of warmth will remain.
Spiral Abyss Changes
According to UBatcha, who is a leaker for Genshin Impact, there will be no changes for floor 9 and floor 10 of Spiral Abyss. This means the leyline disorder will be the same as well as enemy lineups for the chambers. However, floor 11 and floor 12 will have different disorders along with different enemies. You can check the exact details on the tweets below.
The abyss buffs for the first phases for 2.5 Spiral Abyss will be:
- Phase 1: Enemies taking electrocharged damage will gain a stack of debuff up to once every 1.2 seconds, up to a maximum of 4 stacks. Each stack reduces Electro RES by 10% for 10 seconds.
- Phase 2: When the active character’s attacks hit an opponent affected by Electro, a shockwave is created at that opponent’s position. Up to one shockwave every 2 seconds.

Spiral Abyss will have a new type of enemy Shadowy Husk, and it will have three types of variations Standard Bearer, Line Breaker, and Defender. These enemies will either generate shields or heal their allies when they hit shield characters.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Leaks: New Events
Mixing Drinks Event
miHoYo has a lineup of fun events for the next update, one of them being the Mixing Drinks Event. Just from the name, it’s easy to guess what players will have to do, that’s right play the role of bartender. In Diona‘s Hangout Event, there was a similar mechanic of mixing stuff to make drinks, this fun mechanic was ramped up to the next level in the upcoming event.

Players will be allowed to mix up to a max of five ingredients with a minimum of three to make drinks. These drinks will be served to the customers and some may even make tricky requests.
On the Pulse: Archery Game
Moving onto the next event we have, On the Pulse: Archery Game. In this event players will have to hit balloon targets with any bow character, the scores will be based on the number of balloons hit successfully and the remaining time.

In the Windbloom Festival last year there was a similar event, so safe to say it’s a rerun of that event.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Leaks: Weakly Boss and Story Quests
The new weekly boss will be Raiden Shogun, apparently, there is not much info about her. However her location for the battle should be in Narukami Island, she should be unlockable after completing the main questline of version 2.5.

Story Quests Leaks
Raiden Shogun’s Story Quest Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams and Yae Miko’s Story Quest Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I will arrive in Version 2.5.
Map Expansion
Enkanomiya will get a map expansion, with new quests and puzzles, as of now there is not a lot of info for it.
Genshin Impact 2.5 Leaks: New Weapons
Yae Miko will have a weapon banner with her dedicated signature weapon, the new upcoming 5-Star Catalyst is Kagura’s Verity, with a base attack stat of 46 and Crit Damage of 14.6% at the initial level.

- Weapon’s Passive: Kagura Dance of the Sacred Sakura
Gains the Kagura Dance effect when using an Elemental Skill, causing the Elemental Skill DMG of the character wielding this weapon to increase by 12%. Max 3 stacks. This character will gain a 12% All Elemental DMG Bonus when they possess 3 stacks.
Three Realms Gateway Offering event will reward players with a free four-star Catalyst which is the Oathsworn Eye. This new catalyst seems like a support-type weapon and has a base attack stat of 44 and 6% ATK at the initial level.
- Weapon’s Passive: People of the Faltering Light
Increase Energy recharge by 24% for 10s after using an Elemental Skill.

All the information provided here is from beta and is subjected to changes, so take all of this with a grain of salt. However, from the looks of it, version 2.5 seems very impressive, with the highly anticipated arrival of Yae Miko and region expansion for Enkanomiy. Not only that there will be quite a lot of quality of life updates that were requested for a long time by the players.
