With the introduction of Genshin Impact Patch 2.4 Update, gamers will be introduced to new characters, Yun Jin and Shenhe. While it is great to have new characters, it is equally exciting when hangout events for old characters are released. They give a chance for players to understand more about the story and motivation of the returning characters. Hangout events are special Story Quests that can be replayed and have multiple endings. The hangout event will assist travellers to get to know these characters in-depth. In this guide, we will list ways to complete all 5 endings in Genshin Impact, thus, completing the Hangout event with Ningguang.
Genshin Impact Ningguang “The Jade Chamber’s Returning Guest ” Hangout Event: How to unlock
To unlock the Ningguang Hangout Event, travellers need to be Adventure Rank 28 or above. They need to have two Story Keys. Each story key is unlocked by completing 8 daily commissions. Additionally, players will need to complete the newly introduced Archon Quest “The Crane Returns on the Wind”.
The hangout event has 5 different endings, each of which can be unlocked by conversing with Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing, Ningguang. We will be listing all the dialogues that are integral for reaching the ending all other dialogues are inconsequential and do not change the outcome.
1. First Ending- “While the View Remains Good”
To start the hangout event, travellers need to reach the Jade Chamber in the skies of Liyue. Travellers will be replacing Baishi as the scheduling secretary for the day. The first ending involves players partaking in rebuilding the aerial palace.
The following choices need to be made to reach the first ending:
- “(Alright. Time to make a serious effort.)”
- “Don’t worry about them. They’re competent.”
2. Second Ending- “The Weight of a Collection”
To avoid traveling and skipping through initial dialogues, travelers can choose “The Grand Banquet” chapter from the hangout branching menu. The second ending has only one different dialogue selection from the first ending. In this ending, players will see Ninnguang in her newly released skin.
The following choices need to be made to reach the second ending:
- “(Alright. Time to make a serious effort.)”
- “Well, we have time to go and check up on them if you want.”
3. Third Ending- “Unchanging Will”
The third ending diverges from the first two at the start, as the traveler suggests taking simple steps to rebuild the Jade chamber after scheduling the day.
The following choices need to be made to reach the third ending:
- “(Alright. Time to avoid anything too complicated.)”
- “Let’s do something you never normally have time for.”
4. Fourth ending- “Fortunes Shared”
Ninnguang during her off-day suggests a treasure finding and fishing, where the traveler accompanies her. The second option diverges the hangout from the third ending.
The following choices need to be made to reach the fourth ending:
- “(Alright. Time to avoid anything too complicated.)”
- “Let’s do something you never normally have the opportunity to do.”
- “Let’s start at the bottom of the ladder.”
It is to be noted that players can unlock the secret achievement “You’ve Got to Have Reserves” during the fourth ending. All the players need to do is catch at least seven fish during the last part of the fourth ending.
5. Fifth ending- “Feint and Riposte”
The last ending involves the traveler and Ningguang going to Northland Bank.
The following choice needs to be made to reach the fifth ending:
- “(Alright. Time to avoid anything too complicated.)”
- “Let’s do something you never normally have the opportunity to do.”
- “Let’s go and find some work at Northland Bank.”

Unlocking all endings and doing all the achievements will grant players 90 Primogems, 500 Adventure EXP, and more.
