Recent leaks of the upcoming version 3.0 of Genshin Impact have gamers curious about the new features and Alternate Sprint changes that will be coming to the game. One such change that has caught attention is an alternate method for dealing with sprinting on uneven terrain. Currently, in many games, when players try to sprint up or down a hill or other uneven surface, they can easily lose their footing and fall.
It seems that Genshin Impact 3.0 may be addressing this issue with a new system. This system will help players stay upright while traversing tricky landscapes. No official word yet on how this system will work, but Sagiri, a known Genshin Impact leaker, tweeted some clips showing upcoming fixes for alternate sprint characters. Fans of the game are excited to give it a try.
Kamisato Ayaka and Sayu can be seen with the Alternate Sprints
With the short video on Twitter, we see both Kamisato Ayaka and Sayu use their alt sprints to rapidly travel across some of the bumpiest terrains. This is currently impossible for those characters in-game but with a little bit of creativity from players. This will soon be available.
Moreover, the Ayaka snowflake is on the run through Mondstadt’s main city. While Sayu rolls over the main fountain with an exhilarating display of power. It is so relieving to know that we will never have those days where our sprinting ability is wasted on small obstacles again. The alternate sprinter has come a long way and it’s only getting better from here.
Reddit leaks show the alternate sprint changes in the 3.0 update
The video features three characters from Inazuma: Sayu, Ayaka, and Yelan. All these characters move back and forth across a small ledge in their respective striker abilities. But there’s no sign yet of an alternate sprinting mode like what was rumored to exist before this leak confirming its existence with SweetPromotion974’s Reddit post.
These showcases are missing one crucial element: Mona. Her alternate sprint would likely work just like Ayaka’s since they’re so similar, but we have to assume for now since there hasn’t been any word on the matter yet. We can’t wait to see what new characters are added with the Sumeru update. So far, HoYoverse has only included special sprints for Cryo and Hydro but maybe this will change in late August when version 3.0 launches.
