Genshin Impact pre-launch OST has been leaked by the dataminers

Here's everything you need to know.

Genshin Impact has had an impact on the gaming industry since the day it was launched. No matter which part of the world, Genshin Impact is one of the most loved and played games. The game’s rise to success was because of its appealing characters, graphics, and combat systems, but the game also has a top-tier soundtrack that should be an industry standard, added with the incredible open world and addictive exploration gameplay. Now, prominent Genshin leakers have revealed the pre-launch soundtrack theme in Genshin Impact OST, which has a lot of resemblance to NieR.

Similarities were spotted between lyrics in Genshin Impact pre-launch OST and NieR Automata

Genshin Impact soundtracks are just as famous as the game, the soundtracks have been the talk of the town for a while now. But it seemed like the main theme, Dream Aria, sounded different in the early days of the release. Following this, Popular Genshin leaker Ubatcha managed to find a version of the OST with lyrics which was present in several pre-release builds.

The OST with lyrics was then posted on Reddit and YouTube and fans were eager to start discussions, soon they realized that the language used in the lyrics could not be translated to anything at all, and it seemed like miHoYo composer Yu Peng Chen used his own version of a made-up language for the lyrics.

Soon fans pointed out that this kind of made-up language lyrics are also found in NieR Automata and NieR Replicant’s soundtracks, and the composers call it Chaos Language which is a language that is inspired by different existing languages that essentially has no meaning to it.

The existing theme soundtrack is split into two, which during the day features instruments and heavily relies on soaring flutes and strings on the other hand the other half of the soundtrack during the night is focused more on ambiance as it contains vocals to help with that.

Genshin leaker Ubatcha has not shared any further information about the soundtrack, this means that it is unclear if this soundtrack is the first repetition or if HoYoverse changed it. But the leak has sparked several new discussions on social media platforms where fans have been worried if they will see a change in the language of the game at a later stage.
