HoYoverse made an announcement regarding the upcoming Genshin Impact Version 4.1 update, titled “To the Stars Shining in the Depths,” which is scheduled to be released on September 27, 2023. In this update, Fontaine will be expanding to the north, where the main storyline will continue.

Additionally, Neuvillette and Wriothesley will be introduced as new playable characters, along with the debut of the Fatui Harbinger “Arlecchino.” To celebrate its three-year anniversary with fans and players worldwide, Genshin Impact will be providing rewards, including 10 Intertwined Fates, 1,600 Primogems, and 2 exclusive gadgets.

Following the prosperous Court of Fontaine’s introduction, the upcoming northern region will offer insights into the nation’s history and enigma from various angles. The Traveler embarks on the latest Archon Quest here in pursuit of Childe. Hovering mid-air, the “Allogravity-Condensed Water Bodies” and ancient ruins bear witness to the Fontaine Research Institute’s desperate efforts to survive an impending cataclysmic flood.

As players venture into the uncharted underwater expanse and explore the forsaken ruins, they must remain vigilant. Within this new realm, formidable challenges arise, such as the striking “Millennial Pearl Seahorse,” a stunning creature with an affinity for Electro damage. Additionally, players will face the “Experimental Field Generator,” a rogue research apparatus designed to counteract gravity’s effects, endowing players with the ability to leap higher and evade its relentless assaults.

Unleash the power of Neuvillette and Wriothesley in Genshin Impact

In high-ranking positions, two individuals from Fontaine will soon become playable as five-star Catalyst users. More details about these characters can be discovered through their Story Quests. Neuvillette, who holds the title of Iudex in Fontaine, has the ability to release powerful straight-line surges, inflicting Hydro damage through Charged Attacks.

On the other hand, Wriothesley, who serves as the Administrator of the Fortress of Meropide, excels in close combat and can deliver devastating Cryo damage with melee attacks. Both of these characters possess the capability to sacrifice their own health to execute certain types of attacks and subsequently recover their health. Neuvillette and Hu Tao will be initially available in the first round of Event Wishes, followed by Wriothesley and Venti.

Genshin Impact version 4.1 update will feature exciting events and rewards

In addition to the adventure in Fontaine, there’s an opportunity for someone to attend a poetry festival in Mondstadt and Liyue, which provides a great chance to reconnect with friends while celebrating the bonds of friendship and love. This festival also includes various mini-games and an exclusive 4-star Catalyst that can be obtained.

As Genshin Impact’s third anniversary draws near, more rewards are up for grabs. The special daily login event has returned, offering up to Intertwined Fates ×10 and additional bonuses. In Version 4.1, players have the option to access their in-game mailbox to receive rewards such as Primogems ×1,600, Fragile Resin ×4, and two unique gadgets known as the “Portable Aerodynamic Gelatinous Bubble Generator” and “Itty Bitty Octobaby.”
