Genshin Impact Version 6.5 “Luna VI” update, titled “Augured Homecoming “, arrives on 8th April, 2026. The upcoming update introduces the newest character, Linnea, as a playable character, Fontaine Chronicle banner, and two new areas, Dornman Port and Asmoday Space.

Where Waves Meet the Reef (Main Event)
This event will take place in Nord Krai. It will be a trading event where different regional groups will come to trade in Nod Krai. In this event, we have to assist Jahoda. After completing this event, we will receive Jahoda for free.
Rapid Capture (Mini Event)
It’s a picture-taking event where we have to visit different regions and have to take pictures with our old companions.
Surveying and Mapping Studies (Mini Event)
In this event, we have to team with Mika to conduct an interesting mapping and surveying exercise.
Genshin Impact Version 6.5 Update: New playable character, reruns, and New teased characters
Linnea: 5-Star Geo Bow
Linnea is the newest 5-star Geo support Bow user in Genshin Impact. She is a DEF-scaling sub-DPS and a dedicated healer, specifically designed for Lunar-Crystallize teams. With her passive skills, she can reduce enemies 30% Geo res shred. She provides team-wide healing and also gives Element mastery buff based on her defense.
With her elemental skill, she can deal geo damage when she is not in the field and converts Hydro Crystallize into Lunar Crystallize. Her playstyle is similar to Escoffier’s. Get prepared for her ahead of time with our Linnea Pre-Farm Guide.
Re-runs
Linnea’s debut banner will be in the first phase, alongside a rerun of Chasca, then Neffer and Lauma will get their rerun banner in the second half. This time, we will get the Fontaine Chronicle banner.
New teased characters
Seamus Pegg
He is Jean and Barbra’s father.
Gretel
Gretel is a 4* Anemo character in Genshin Impact. She is Amber’s Apprentice.
New Area
In Version 6.5, we will receive a total of 2 new areas in Genshin Impact: Dornman Port and Asmoday Space. Dormain Port has its own offering system compass for exploration, so we can expect more rewards. We will also receive Linnea’s boss’s materials from this location.
Genshin Impact Version 6.5: System changes
- From Version 6.5, we can invite 40 players to a lobby in Miniastra Wonderland.
- Dahlia and Aino TCG cards will be available from version 6.5.
