The preview was dropped on their official social media handles and the previous day, the makers had already hinted at the new version update coming soon via their “Fight Fire with Fire” announcement. Also, this event will be accompanied by the pick-up of recruitment banners of new characters Jackal and Viper, with more details yet to follow.

This event will follow the “Fight Fire with Fire” version update, and the details of the event are still concealed. The latest visual released has the members of the D-Outsiders hanging out together. We can expect the other members of both the Squad Exotic and the D-Outsiders to the story.
The arrival of new pick-up recruitments: Jackal and Viper
Another announcement that the fans are curious about is the arrival of a new pick-up recruitment, featuring the SSR character Jackal. She will be taking the role of Burst 1, most likely to wield a rocket launcher, like Noah and Yuni. Jackal’s character was first introduced in Chapter 16 of the story.
Barring any surprise, Jackal will be featured in the game along with Viper, a member of the Exotic, who’s another Burst 2 SSR who’ll be wielding a Shotgun. We can expect both the characters to see light during January 3rd week. The makers have kept the kit reveals in suspense, as the players start worrying about the gems and rolls they’ll have to invest.
