SEGA has announced an exciting collaboration between their new party royale title, Sonic Rumble, and Godzilla, scheduled for December 22. This crossover brings a limited-time event, which includes a new stage, unlockable Kaiju and skills, and more Godzilla-themed rewards.
Get ready to survive the chaos of Godzilla as your favorite Sonic Characters
I never thought I would see the King of Monsters, Godzilla, together with the Sonic gang, but here we are. Now, everyone’s favorite Kaiju is soon rumbling on Sonic Rumble and bringing chaos inside Dr. Eggman’s Toy World. The year’s ending, but 2025 keeps surprising me with these wild crossovers.
So, you’ll soon be sprinting into the new Godzilla Survival stage, where you’ve to stay alive during the Kaiju’s rampage across three boats in the ocean. And, it will be really fun to dodge his Heat Ray, while being careful of the lurking Shockirus, as we can only respawn once, unlike the other stages.
You can unlock a variety of Kaijus during this crossover, with Godzilla entirely for free
And beyond the stage, I’m more eager to collect the Kaijus, and I love SEGA for giving us Godzilla with the Heat Ray and Fire Rodan buddy for free via the Free Pass. The Premium Pass is equally good, bringing King Ghidorah and his Gravity Beams, Mothra as a buddy, and Godzilla’s Nuclear Pulse skill.
Wait, wait, there’s more, as you’ll be able to obtain Mechagodzilla and the Absolute Zero blast, along with Destoroyah and the Variable Slicer from the RSR Shop. This collab is really big, and I can’t wait to see the two icons rumbling together this December. It’s nice knowing mobile gaming is really thriving.
