Global interactive entertainment developer and publisher miHoYo announced that its 3D action title Honkai Impact 3 is collaborating with the world’s biggest cosplay-sharing platform WorldCosplay to hold Honkai48 Cosplay Contest. The contest has officially launched on November 2, 2020.

Honkai48 Cosplay Contest has 6 awards by criteria:
- Judges’ Choice Award
- Visual Stunner Award
- Master Crafter Award
- Ingeniously Creative Award
- Popularity Award
- Outstanding Work Award
The first 5 awards are each given to a Photo category contestant and a Video category contestant. The 2 winners of the Judges’ Choice Award will each receive 3,000 USD in cash. The 6 winners of the Visual Stunner Award, Master Crafter Award, and Ingeniously Creative Award will each receive 500 USD in cash. The 2 winners of the Popularity Award will each receive a Honkai Impact 3 collector figure. The 48 winners of the Outstanding Work Award will receive in-game item Focused Supply Cards.
The contest has invited world-famous Filipina cosplayer and gamer Alodia, trending Korean cosplayer and model Yurisa, and expert Greek cosplayer and stage performer KNITE to serve as the judges. The involvement of 3 celebrity judges will ensure the credibility and professionalism of Honkai48 Cosplay Contest.
