Honor of Kings Plus Version Update Arrives in June 2026 with New Heroes, Reworks, and More

Honor of Kings will receive a major update in June 2026 with the arrival of the HOK Plus Version Update. This update will bring plenty of new content and improvements to the game, including four new heroes, hero reworks, and gameplay optimizations for more than 90 heroes. In this article, we will highlight all the major additions and changes coming with the June 2026 Honor of Kings Plus Version Update.

Honor of Kings Plus Version Update: New Heroes

Starting June 17th, the Honor of Kings Plus Version Update will kick off, bringing numerous new additions. One of the most anticipated additions is the debut of 4 new heroes once. The heroes are highlighted below:

• Devara: This Fighter hero brings an electrifying atmosphere to the HOK Gorge. He has powerful boosted basic attacks and the ability to morph into a powerful form and dish out thunderous attacks. Similar to heroes like Garuda Khageswara, Devara is rumored to be based on Indian mythology.
• Annette: This Patch Update introduces new heroes straight from Arena of Valor. Anette is a Mage/roam hero with powerful AOE skills and mobility, allowing her to effectively support allies on the Gorge.
• Lorion: This is another mage hero incorporated straight from Arena of Valor into HOK. He can cast powerful dark magic, melting down all enemies standing in his way. This is thanks to his ultimate, which allows him to knock up enemies while bursting them down immediately.
• Florentino: This agile Fighter utilizes his powerful swordsmanship skills to burst down enemies on the battlefield. He is able to mark enemies, allowing him to dash back and forth around them, dealing lots of damage.

Hero Reworks and Optimizations

The devs have stated that they’d be optimizing and improving the gameplay mechanics of 90 heroes in this Patch Update. Some specific updates were teased:

• The skill combo mechanic for heroes like Diaochan has now been fixed, making it more fluid and easier to pull off than before.
• Ultimate combo issues with heroes like Xiao Qiao and Xiang Yu have also been optimized to work just out much better than before.

Besides hero optimizations, the Devs also reworked some of our beloved heroes. The Reworks will make the heroes a bit stronger and more capable than before, giving them a chance to fare well in higher ranks. The Reworked heroes are highlighted below:

• Li Xin: The Devs have optimized his skills and enhanced his playstyle, making both his Light and Dark forms more flexible. Now his Revenge/Dark form will allow you to use basic attacks while using his Skill 1, thus increasing his overall damage output. This and many other buffs were made to Li Xin, making him much stronger than before.
• Sima Yi: One of the greatest limitations to this hero was his energy bar; now the devs have replaced it with a Mana bar. This will make it all the easier to stalk and eliminate enemy targets using Sima Yi.

New Event and System Adjustment

The Honor of Kings Plus Version Update will be introducing exciting Spriteling-themed Events to the Gorge this June. The Spriteling Mystery Treasure Hunting event is one of the most interesting new additions. This event allows your Spriteling to dig for treasures in-game, granting you special event rewards. They can be exchanged for unique items, including a Free 1688-token voucher and lots more rewards.

Besides this new event update, the Devs will be adding some system adjustments. They’re highlighted below:

• In Honor of Kings Super Flow brawl, the louder your voice is on the mic, the higher the damage buff you’d get.
• The devs have adjusted a bug that reduces mobility around the map’s central area.
• Addition of random events (like lane speed up and low skill cooldown effects) to the in-game map.
• The Devs have now fixed movement buffer issues that are experienced after being exposed to continuous CC effects.
• The game’s attack logic has also been optimized, allowing your attacks to prioritize the closest low-health enemies. This applies to those currently using the setting in-game.
