Just a day after the teaser reveal, HoYoverse followed up with a much deeper look at its upcoming simulation title called Petit Planet. A closed beta test is gearing up for iOS and PC, with the sign-ups now open, while we get more details on the project with the Cozy Cosmos Trailer.
The title announcement came with a brand-new logo and a short teaser trailer that finally gave us the first look at the project.
Petit Planet promises a cozy life sim among the stars
The title is introduced as a “cosmic life simulation” where you nurture your own planet, connect with fuzzy neighbors, and weave bonds that expand into a galaxy of interconnected worlds. The game promises a wide range of cozy activities.
This includes farming, fishing, cooking, mining, and decorating, alongside options to customize outfits, interiors, and even entire landscapes with the magical essence known as Luca. Exploration will consist of “Starsea Voyages” and social hubs like the Galactic Bazaar, where you can meet both NPCs and fellow travellers.
First rumours floated back in June 2023, where leaks suggested that HoYoverse was developing a casual simulation game similar to Nintendo’s blockbuster simulation game Animal Crossing. In March 2025, reports further showed us a very strong future games lineup for the developer.
Earlier, trademarks had even suggested the name Astaweave Haven, which was last year, before the eventual shift to Petit Planet was confirmed as per multiple social media accounts opened under the same name. With everything discussed, this is a new step into the farming and pet simulation space for HoYoverse.
How to sign up for the Petit Planet Coziness Test CBT
To give players an early taste, HoYoverse has opened sign-ups for Petit Planet’s first closed beta, officially called the Coziness Test. This small-scale beta will include a full data wipe and will be made available on PC and iOS. No details about Android are known to us yet.
For iOS, the Coziness Test will need at least 8 GB of free space. It will only run on iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, and newer models, but not on the standard iPhone 13 or the iPhone 13 mini. The device must be on iOS 14.0 or later and have at least 6 GB of RAM.
Interested players can register via the official website by logging in with a HoYoverse account and completing the survey. Selected participants will be notified by email, and access will be tied to the first device used to log in. The last date of signups is not unveiled alongside the beta test date.
