The third community playtest of the made-in-India battle royale game Indus has been announced to be taking place in February 2023. Indus, developed by Pune-based SuperGaming, is available for pre-registration on Google Play for Android, PC, and consoles. On January 26, India’s Republic Day, pre-registrations for Indus were opened and is now enroute to cross 1 million soon.

“To celebrate the community’s love and support for Indus, we felt that it’s time to take it to
India’s fastest-growing city, Surat,”
says SuperGaming co-founder and CEO Roby John. he added, “Our
previous playtests had us get valuable feedback from players in Pune and Bengaluru which
helped us make a better game, now it’s time to see what some of the more hardcore battle
royale players in the country think.”

The third playtest of Indus is invite only and will take place this February 25th

This playtest is by invitation only, so interested players can fill out this form to sign up for access and other important information like timing. On February 25, the Surat community will be able to play the game at White Orange Software.

Players will have access to the most recent version of Indus during this community playtest and take part in a few games of the game with the developers and other players. Here are some updates and additions since the second community playtest in Bengaluru in November 2022:

  • Better graphics and smoother visuals.
  • New playable paragons (they’re what we call our playable characters).
  • New paragon skins.
  • New weapons.
  • Map improvements.
  • Mini-map upgrades.
  • Slide feature.
  • Customizable controls.
  • Supply drops.
  • Weapon testing facility — to try out Indus’ weapons before you land on Virlok.

Players will receive exclusive rewards upon invitation and can share their views on the game

Players will be able to voice their opinions on various game elements and influence the way SuperGaming develops its most ambitious game to date. Invited players will receive an Indus Battle Kit upon invitation. It is a collection of heirloom-quality memorabilia created to honor the SuperGaming community and the way that games are developed through cooperation.

This is consistent with the design of SuperGaming’s biggest successes, MaskGun and Silly Royale. Since its release, the well-known multiplayer shooter MaskGun has accumulated over 65 million players. Its unwavering commitment to putting its players first has resulted in the inclusion of some of the largest community members in-game and the celebration of Indian holidays like Diwali.

Fans of Indus who are interested in attending this playtest must register using this link. The announcement of the event’s chosen attendees would be made available via phone or email notifications.
