This new season, titled “Hallo-Drift,” brings forth a Halloween-themed atmosphere with new tracks, unique characters, a fresh game mode, and various enhancements aimed at improving the overall gaming experience in KartRider: Drift.
KartRider: Drift Season 4 introduces brand new tracks and new racers
Nexon and Nitro Studios unveiled Season 4: Hallo-Drift, a chillingly delightful season introducing eerie new locations. As autumn approaches, fans of KartRider: Drift will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the spooky ambiance while racing on four tracks inspired by graveyards:
- Specter Pass
- Dark Castle
- Wayward Turnabout
- Cemetery Circuit
Furthermore, players will have the chance to revel in the exhilarating World Kart Championship: Shanghai Circuit speed battle track. Nexon is also thrilled to announce the addition of two fresh Racer characters, Draky and Spirit Kid. Draky is an enigmatic racer who has endured for countless years with a heart as remote as the moon. Meanwhile, Spirit Kid is a timid yet mischievous little ghost who enjoys surprising others while concealing her face. These endearing characters can be acquired as rewards through the Racing Pass.
KartRider: Drift gets a new game mode and quality-of-life improvements with the Season 4 update
Players have the opportunity to participate in Crossover Mode, which is a novel game mode combining elements from the core Speed and Item Modes. In this mode, item boxes will appear on the tracks as usual, and players can drive over them to acquire their favorite weapons and items from the Item Mode. It’s important not to overlook drifting, as the Boost Gauge will assist in outpacing competitors, much like in Speed Mode.
Furthermore, this update introduces several quality-of-life enhancements. The matchmaking process will be refined, enhancing AI matching options and difficulty settings for a more enjoyable and convenient racing experience. Additionally, tutorials for Matchmaking and Matchmaking Options have been included to assist players.
Moreover, the restrictions on license levels have been lifted, granting all players immediate access to all tracks, and enabling new players to dive right into the action. Furthermore, Speed Mode has seen improvements, including the removal of the drift gauge decrease that occurred during collisions.
