Kinder World is a simulation game that is currently available through early access on Android and iOS. The game is developed by Melbourne-based studio Lumi Studios. The studio comprises an all-women team and after securing a massive $AU9.76 million in VC seed funding they have achieved a remarkable milestone. a16z headed the seed round along with investments from 1Up Ventures, Galileo Ventures, Eric Seufert’s Heracles Capital, and Double Loop Games CEO Emily Greer.
Experience self-love with amazing gameplay and mechanics in Kinder World
The game features unique gameplay and mechanics which allows players to engage with other players where they can partake in daily acts of self-love. Players can do these acts by completing different tasks like taking care of plants.
Players can soothe their minds in the game by getting comfortable in their own design’s relaxing and lush atmosphere.
“These past few years have been anything but kind,” said co-founder and CEO Lauren Clinnick in a press release, “but even in the depths of Melbourne’s long lockdowns, my small team saw how everyday acts of compassion, to ourselves and others, could make the world seem like a kinder place.” According to the developers the game’s sole purpose is to make players around the world engage in small acts of kindness.
Nurture plants and complete evidence-based well-being exercises
Players will be allowed to nurture their plants in-game. They can accomplish this task by nurturing themselves in the real world. Some of the crucial tasks in the game are completing evidence-based wellbeing exercises which include emotional naming and expressing gratitude.
The unique features of the game allow a player to take care of a cute houseplant worthy of adoring and caring. To provide nourishment to the plant players will have to accomplish small moments of self-kindness.
The game includes a cast of colorful animal characters which makes the in-game world very diverse. Kinder World encourages a feeling of community and brotherhood among the players which is very unique. The OS requirements of the game for iOS are iOS 13 and above while Android devices require Android 10 and above.
