Aestus Mobile has announced the soft launch of its new 5v5 MOBA-like team shooter title, Lumeshift, now available on Android in Brazil and Indonesia. Currently in active development, there is no information available yet regarding an iOS or global launch.
Dive into fast-paced hybrid battles with unique heroes
To me, Lumeshift feels like a take on Valve’s upcoming MOBA shooter Deadlock, which is also in development. Now in this one, you pick from unique heroes, each with their own weapons and abilities, and battle out across three lanes in a 5-man squad to dominate your enemies.
The Zipline system looks intriguing, since it lets you jump straight into battles in quick 15-minute matches. This also gives Overwatch vibes. Now, as someone who enjoys both MOBAs and shooters, I’m happy to see developers experimenting with this hybrid, even if people call it copied.
It will be fun to do coordinated combos and even use Ultimates to win. Honestly, I can’t wait to try over 10 unique heroes like Blaze, Ravenna, and Eira, because their character design and skill set look cool. And, as of now, the game looks very promising to me with its vibrant maps, fast-paced 5v5 combat, stunning visuals and abilities, and more. I just hope it releases globally soon.
Lumeshift is now available in soft launch on Android in Brazil and Indonesia, and you can download the game via the Google Play Store if you’re from these regions. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the iOS or global launch.
