HandyGames, known for Wreckfest Mobile and more, has announced that the mobile port of the hit single-player, open-world ARPG, Maneater, will launch on both Android and iOS on December 15. Developed by Tripwire Interactive, this port offers the same experience, and pre-registration is now live.
Become the Apex predator and hunt down anything and everything
I can’t believe we’ll soon get to experience the thrill of becoming the ocean’s apex predator, as Maneater is swimming towards mobile. For those unaware, this is a hit action RPG where you play as a Shark, starting as a small pup trying to survive while devouring your way up the food chain.
It’s such a wild concept, and I’m super excited to explore the seven massive and diverse regions, from the bayous of the Gulf Coast to resort beaches and open ocean, especially as the visuals look great and the full day and night cycle makes it even better. And, the idea of taking on both wildlife and human hunters is itself super fun.
But the best part? You can soon enjoy that chaotic thrill by tearing down swimmers and divers limb from limb to grow your shark. And, you can even collect shark loot to evolve. To be precise, this one is absolutely worth the wait, mainly since it brings the full story campaign right, narrated by Chris Parnell, known for Rick and Morty and Saturday Night Live.
Maneater is set to launch on both Android and iOS on December 15, 2025. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store or App Store.
