The Cloudrise Patch is shaping up to be one of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s most exciting updates yet, bringing a fresh wave of content that redefines the battlefield. From the arrival of a powerful new Hero to game-changing balance adjustments, new skins, and exciting event reveals. Therefore, we’d be highlighting all the major additions releasing alongside the Cloudrise Patch.
New Hero: Sora
The main showcase for the Cloudrise Patch Preview is MLBB’s newest Fighter hero, Sora. Sora is the newest hero scheduled to join the MLBB Global server hero pool. This new upcoming hero is very unique, as he can ascend into different forms, granting him 9 unique abilities in total.
Another really important perk about Sora is that, due to the different forms he can ascend into, Sora can be a Tank/Fighter/Assassin hero depending on the situation. Thanks to the stacks from his passive ability, he can easily use his ultimate ability to ascend into a new form.
On ascending into Thunder, Sora adopts an offensive and assassin-like playstyle. While ascending into Torrent, he becomes more of a Tank and brawler. While in his base form, his stats are balanced to be more of a Fighter. Thus, proving just how versatile Sora really is on the battlefield. Sora will make his debut alongside the all-new Cloudrise Patch on the 18th of December, 2025.
Heroes Balance Changes and Adjustments
The upcoming Patch Update will be introducing Buffs, Nerfs, and Adjustments to some heroes in the game. This is geared at improving the overall battlefield experience for all players. The following heroes have been highlighted to receive adjustments this season:
Adjusted Heroes
- Nana
- Zhuxin
- Angela
Buffed Heroes
- Tigreal
- Rafaela
- Zilong
- Johnson
- Aurora
- Lolita
- Leomord
- Lukas
- Estes
The Devs also added an important optimisation to how Roamers benefit from allies in the early game. Formerly, Roamers had to stay around allies to benefit from Gold and Exp from them. However, they will now be able to gain Gold and Exp by dealing Damage to enemy Heroes. This effect is exclusive to Roamers using the Conceal and Dire-hit Roam effect.
New Game Features
To enhance the gaming experience of all players, the Developers will be adding a new Record and Share feature to MLBB in this Patch. This is designed to make it easier for all players to share their precious gaming highlights with minimal effort. This is truly a promising new feature for Content Creators and all.
Upcoming Skins and Events
To round up the Patch Preview Update, the Devs teased some new and upcoming skin additions to MLBB in Season 39. One of the major skins teased to return is a new Legend skin, which is expected to be available in a limited-time event. Some of the exciting skins and events teased are highlighted below:
- Fanny Legend skin
- Soul Vessels 2.0 event returns this January
- New Golden Month skins for Hanabi
A Mystery event will be revealed later on as time passes by; we can only wait to know what it is.
MLBB 10th Anniversary Update
Can’t believe it will soon be a Decade since the debut of MLBB. To mark MLBB’s upcoming 10th Anniversary, coming in 2026, the Devs cited how grand it will be. The Anniversary will be ushering in lots of new, exciting features and gameplay mechanics never-before-seen in the Land of Dawn. In terms of new skin additions, there are speculations that Moskov’s Collector skin will be available for free during the Anniversary.
