Mobile Legends introduces 10-hero ban system and Lane Selection in the Ranked Draft pick

Things are looking exciting!

The developers behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), MOONTON Games have finally released the long-awaited 10-hero ban and lane selection on the ranked draft pick system. The much-awaited 10-man ban in the Ranked Draft pick system. Players in each team can ban 5 heroes, making 10 banned heroes in total. This newly updated system would be available in Ranked matches and for players in rank Mythic and above.

Mobile Legends (MLBB) Ranked Draft Pick System: Lane selection and hero ban

The 10-hero ban system in the Ranked Draft pick will give room for all players to ban any hero of their choosing. Players would have to take turns to ban their desired hero to do the ban. However, before players can ban other heroes, they would have to go through the Lane Pre-selection Display Stage. To know more about laning in Mobile Legends, refer to the Laning Guide.

In the Lane Pre-selection Display Stage, players would get to choose the desired lane of their choice. This would help random teammates easily know the other’s strengths, as it also shows the win rate and total number of matches played in the season of MLBB. Players who also pre-select roles would be advised to follow the roles, thus preventing the risks of multiple players going for the same role.

Going back to the 10-hero ban system in ranked draft pick, the Ranked system first chooses 3 players from each team to ban any 3 heroes. To know more about which heroes to ban in-game, please refer to our guide on the most banned heroes in Mobile Legends. In the first ban round, Players 1, 2 and 3 of both teams would be banned. In the second ban round, Players 4 and 5 of both teams would get their turn to ban.

These 3 players from each team would blindly ban any 3 heroes, which just might lead to a hero being repeatedly banned in a match. After the first set of 3 players have been banned, their ban picks would be revealed and then the last two players would then get to ban their desired heroes.
