Telecommunications company and esports powerhouse Smart Communications Inc. have just acquired the entire Mobile Legends roster from Execration and added 4 new members to round out a fresh-looking roster for the Smart Omega team. Omega is now looking to make a run at the MPL title once again in the upcoming Season 8 with this new squad. They had come close as a runner-up in Season 6 and missed out on the finals in Season 7.
Mobile Legends: Smart Omega roster after acquiring Execration
After a huge win in the MSC 2021 recently, the compact squad of 6 has already proven to the world that they can win it all. However, Execration has, unfortunately, had let their MLBB team go due to failure to get a slot in the upcoming MPL-PH Season 8.
Luckily, Execration is now under the new management of Smart Omega and Mobile Legends fans are dying to see the roster play on the battlefield once more. The 10-man squad now looks as follows:

The future for Omega
It is quite evident that the Smart Omega squad will go far in the future. Although sad for the Omega fans to see the old squad leave for new teams or other ventures, but this is an exciting new time for Smart Omega.
The previous MSC champions have been coupled with some new faces and will make an excellent addition to the stacked talent in the PH region. Execration’s previous coach Jomie “P4kbet” Abalos has also been brought abroad with his team, joined by ex-Smart Omega coach Anthony “Ynot” Senedrin. The latter will be serving as head of coaching and player development. This squad will make its debut in the upcoming MPL-PH Season 8.
