By the latest press release via social media, Execration has officially released their Mobile Legends: Bang Bang player roster due to “unfortunate circumstances”. The squad made up of Ch4knu, Z4pnu, Kerla, Renzio, and E2MAX will still stay together. They will be under the care of a new organization.
Execration was late to secure a slot
On Z4pnu’s YouTube channel, he mentioned, in a recent vlog that the reason behind the split was because Execration failed to secure a slot in the upcoming MPL season 8. Of the limited 8 slots, Indonesian organizations like Aura and Onic as well as Filipino organizations Bren, Blacklist, and TNC had already reserved their spots on a first-come-first-serve basis. Due to their focus directed on the Dota 2 side of the organization, they were too late to enter into the tournament. However, they are still hoping that another organization will buy them out so that the champions of the MSC 2021 Finals will participate once more in the upcoming MPL tournament.
Execration Mobile Legends roster: Future developments
As mentioned in the official announcement, General Manager EJ Miranda has stated that the current Execration ML team will be aided in finding a new organization. At this moment, no specific reason for this decision has been made public, and Execration is still fixated on providing the best for the team. They are hoping to do their best to find a suitable fit for everyone’s best interests. The MSC 2021 champions will hopefully be back to play under new management at the start of the 8th season of MPL-PH.
Previously, Execration has had quite the run lately, winning the runner-up spot in the Season 7 of the MPL-PH because of a 3-4 loss to Blacklist. After beating the previous champions Bren as well as the powerhouses of Aura and Onic. They also exacted well-deserved revenge on Blacklist in the 2021 MSC, in a commendable 4-1 victory.
