With the new October 2023 Update in New State Mobile, the developers at Krafton bring a new Blue Zone Grenade, along with some small adjustments and extra customizations to the guns in the game. Along with that, there is a new character in the current Season Survivor Pass. Let us break down more about this update.
New Item: Blue Zone Grenade
A new throwable called the Blue Zone Grenade has been added. It creates a Blue Zone from the center of the impact area when dropped. The Blue Zone expands to its maximum size upon creation and maintains that size for 5 seconds. It then gradually scales back for 15 seconds.
A Blue Zone Grenade can create multiple Blue Zone areas, and the damage may overlap. The safety clip removal function is not available for the Blue Zone Grenade.
More changes
A rapid falling function has been added, which you can use when falling with the parachute from an airplane. When this function is used while falling, the character will fall vertically on the spot at high speed. When activated in the parachute, the parachute’s angle will lower to the maximum degree for a rapid landing.
A parachute gliding function has been added to allow further flying. Players can use this function in the parachute, and it will lose speed to glide further. Players can use these newly added functions at first falling and self-redeployment. However, they are not available when you are revived via a Green Flare Gun.
New State Mobile October 2023 Update: Gunplay Customizations
In this section, we will break down the Gunplay customizations in New State Mobile with the October 2023 Update.
- A dedicated Laser Grip will be added as a C2 custom for the AK Alfa. In C2 custom, it not only facilitates vertical recoil control but also increases deviation control when hip-fired and shouldered. However, it also decreases aiming speed and makes the grip slot unavailable.
- We have rebalanced the guns based on our analysis of survivor in-game play data. The DSR-1’s bolt action speed has been slightly increased. The size of the Attachable Shield, the M249’s C2 custom has been reduced.
Survivor Pass Vol. 24: Chris
The lead character of Survivor Pass Vol. 24 is ‘Chris‘ from New State Mobile. Starting from Survivor Pass Volume 24, the rewards have become even more plentiful.
- Players can get the character for free by achieving a certain pass level. They can also get the Crazy Baron’s costume set by upgrading to the Premium Pass, and many more rewards will be given upon purchasing Premium Plus.
- Players can meet the Shadow Assassin set, once again as they can upgrade it to the Legacy Pass. All NC consumed will be refunded, once they have purchased the Premium Pass and achieved a certain pass level.
Developers have also prepared events with fabulous rewards in celebration of the 2nd anniversary of New State Mobile.
