Krafton has finally launched the closed alpha testing of PUBG New State. Players who have pre-registered from the United States have secured an early-access to join the closed alpha testing. After fixing bugs and glitches, players will have the chance to play the beta version. The game is supposed to launch by the final quarter of this year. The closed alpha testing will run for three days starting from 11th June. We already gathered some in-game experiences from the game. Though it is still under experiment; we hope no major changes will happen to the ultimate version of it. PUBG New State: Closed alpha test
PUBG New State has been available only with a single map named ‘Troi’ and luckily most of the features that will be available in this game were present on the map. Although, not a sequel of PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State is the successor of PUBG PC which is set in the future. As per the claims from Krafton, PUBG New State has several interesting features which include some awesome graphics, futuristic gameplay which is based on the year 2051.

Difference between weapon customization and weapon attachments
We all are aware of the fact that in PUBG Mobile, players can add attachments to the guns for different purposes. Attachments are kinds of different scopes, grips, magazines, stocks, muzzles. Muzzles include the likes of Flash Hider, Compensator or Suppressor etc which are useful. PUBG New State does not differ from the attachments from PUBG New State. The developers have thought of something in terms of Weapon customization in PUBG New State. Now, players can customize their weapons and add attachments at the same time! Customizing a weapon includes a change in the stock components of a weapon such as short barrels, new scopes where attachments are normally used with stock components.
Customizable weapons: How to customize them
Using custom kits, players can add some extra features to their guns to improve performance. Customizing a weapon won’t change its physics totally, but a slight change will appear on the weapon’s body. After equipping a customizable weapon, a yellow marker will appear on the backpack icon, and a blue icon will appear on the gun icon after customizing it.

So, Krafton added a tagline ‘upgrade kit for gun utilization‘ with the custom kit. Players will find it while playing and on the training ground too. It looks more like a health kit but serves different purposes.

Mk 47 Mutant
This gun is going to be a game-changer beast in PUBG New State. In PUBG Mobile, it has only two fire modes, which are single and burst. But, here in New State, MK47 Mutant can be used to spraying at enemies on full auto mode!

- Can auto fire.
Disadvantages
- Increases gun recoil.
VSS
We all know that in PUBG Mobile, VSS comes with a pre-attached 4x scope. But PUBG New State has taken things a bit higher. Now, players can use 6x, 8x or even red dot sights with it. Players can now use it in any range of fights.

- Stable recoil motion.

SCAR-L
Stock Scar Light comes with a normal magazine of 30 bullet capacity. But, customizing it, will attach a drum magazine will increase the capacity to 50 bullets. Recoil control will become easier.

- Horizontal recoil control.
- Magazine capacity.
Disadvantages

M249
Usually, the machine gun comes with 75 bullets. After customization, its magazine will hold a massive amount of 150 round of bullets. But, the reload speed will increase.

Advantages
- Magazine capacity.
Disadvantages
- Reload speed increase to 9 seconds.
Beryl M762
This weapon is a beast in close-range fights because of its firing rate. This time, PUBG New State has pushed it a bit more to increase its damage. Though, the recoil will increase more, making it harder to control.
Custom type: Short barrel
Advantages
- Increased damage.
Disadvantages
- Recoil control becomes tougher to control.
AKM
Kalashnikov is a popular gun by choice. This gun is also coming with an option to customize it.
Custom type: Picatinny rail
Advantages
- Can use lower rail slot.
Disadvantages
- None.
For those who are wondering what is Picatinny rail, it is a military standard rail interface system that provides a mounting platform for firearm accessories. It was originally used for mounting scopes atop the receivers of larger caliber rifles. Once established, its use is expanded to also attaching other accessories.
Tommy Gun
SMG’s are great in close combat. In PUBG New State, players can use a scope up to 6x scope in a Tommy Gun.

Micro UZI
Another popular sub-machine gun which is mostly used in close combat.

PP-19 Bizon
This is a good mid-range gun that uses 9mm to shoot. Available options for this gun are as follows.

Disadvantages

Vector
Mostly used in close combats, although this gun has the advantage to add different scopes whereas the other 9mm SMGs like Micro UZI would only support Red Dot and Holo sight.

Advantages
- Damage drop-off distance.
Disadvantages
- None.
S12K
This automatic shotgun has no competitors in close fights especially when enemies are pushing at players stacked in a house.
Custom type: Increased combat range
Advantages
- Shotgun drop-off distance.
- Open stock slot.
Disadvantages
- Damage will decrease.
S1897
Customizable options for this shotgun are as follows.
Custom type: Full choke
Advantages
- Shotgun pellets spread tightness.
Disadvantages

SLR
This DMR is known for its versatility and damage. In PUBG New State, attaching a long barrel after customization will increase its damage. We can expect that this gun will be a strong competitor for Mini-14.

Viper A-spec sight
A new Red Dot scope increases the ADS speed to control gun recoil easily has been released. This is a futuristic version of the Red dot sights. At present, all the guns in PUBG New State have fixed red dot sights and Viper A-spec sight is available as an attachment. We might be able to see iron sights in the game when it gets released finally.
