Nexon has launched a probability monitoring system with the name ‘Nexon Now’. Among the various game companies that are in the gacha market, Nexon surely takes the cake for being the one with the most notorious reputation, especially for the team responsible for global releases. Very recently the Nexon Korean Team which was responsible for the global release of the game Blue Archive had gone back on their words of no censorship.
They censored a cut-scene image but this only affected the global version, the Japanese version still has the original image. This resulted in severe backlash from the players, with many whales refunding their purchases and review-bombing the game on app stores among many other things. Prior to Nexon Korean, Nexon EU was responsible for global and they have made a lot of wrong decisions for their games.
Nexon Now is their response to some of the issues. This is a real-time probability monitoring system that allows the players to compare their results with the actually claimed probabilities in the game. Not only will this make the game’s gacha features more transparent, but this move might also just help them get back their reputation, as they are the first one to do this among the big-name gacha companies, from the likes of Mihoyo, Netmarble, Yostar, etc.

Nexon to implement Nexon Now on all their upcoming games
As of now, MapleStory is one of the first games which has implemented this new feature with the promise that all games released by the company will have it as time goes on.
Prior to this year, they had announced in a notice a fix for probabilities as one of the gacha features. However, this raised the question of the gacha mechanic having inconsistent probabilities from the very beginning, which caused quite the backlash from players.

The actual data will be updated every hour, and all the data will be two hours prior to the update time. Since its a real-time information system, it may take some time for the actual results to show up. This is because it will take some time for the collection and calculation of data.
