Excited for this upcoming project?

Story Highlights
  • Project RX is a subculture driven game focused on immersive storytelling and interacting with adorable characters.
  • Developed using Unreal Engine 5, the game is led by Blue Archive veterans Cha Min Seo as Producer and Yutoka Mizu as Art Director.
  • Details on the genre, gameplay, systems, and release date are still limited, but more information is coming next year.

Nexon’s IO Division, best known for Blue Archive, has officially revealed their new 3D isekai-like title, Project RX with a teaser trailer. First announced back in October 2024, the game is still in development by RX Studio under IO Divison for mobile and PC.

Get ready to step into a lively isekai world full of adorable Vtuber-like characters

Project RX is a subculture game that leans hard into immersive storytelling experience, letting us interact with these Vtuber-like characters. And, I like concept for this one, as it focused on lifestyle content, almost like we’re stepping into a isekai where we’ll actually live alongside the characters.

I’ve high hopes for this project, mainly because it’s being built using Unreal Engine 5, so the visuals will be top notch, and is led by Cha Min-seo as Producer and Yutoka Mizu, as Art Director. Both of them were key members in Nexon’s global hit RPG, Blue Archive, and I’m sure they’ll replicate the same here.

Limited details for now but the combat looks stunning

While details are still scarce at the moment, Project RX teaser gave me a good impression of what we can expect. First of all, I’m already liking the character models and the overall visuals, which I’m sure will be better at launch. Also, moments like them reading, cooking, or even sipping drink under the Sakura tree intrigues me.

But the sudden shift to combat really took me by surprise, as I wasn’t expecting it at all, after the initial slice-of-life like vibe. Either way, I’m happy, as the skill effects really do be looking stunning and the characters really look during battles. Plus, the Producer has confirmed that we’ll get more details next year, so I’m excited.
