Persona 5: The Phantom of the Night is a brand-new mobile game Black Wing Game Studio developed. The release date for the game has not been announced. Sign-ups for the “Infiltration Test” playtest are available now on the official website, while the playtests will start in China on March 29. The game will officially be available for download on iOS and Android.
Persona 5: The Phantom of the Night offers an original story-based narrative
Persona 5: The Phantom of the Night will follow a new storyline focusing on the adventures of a new group of Phantom thieves. The game will be set in the surrounding environment of Tokyo where players will take on new adventures while experiencing the culture developed in Tokyo. The game however as of now has no plans of being released in any other country except for China.
A mysterious old man with a long nose, a strange underwater room, an owl that can speak human language, and another world separate from reality—these seemingly unrelated things are all somehow connected.
Players in the game will take on the role of a student who on the surface looks to be living a normal life by attending classes, playing baseball, and participating in other school activities. However, after school, they will be infiltrating the other side of the world, which will be a shadow of the former world offering more high-level desires and personas. The new world features high palaces, stronger enemies, and exciting high-level octane battles enough to keep the players engaged.
The game will be published by Perfect World Games while being under the supervision of SEGA and Atlus. Persona 5 will also feature a variety of character rosters with each character offering something extra and different. The game will be focused on delivering a theme of desire and will tell the story of students who have awakened to their Personas and facing difficulties together in an era of low desire.
Persona 5: The Phantom of Night as per reports will be available for players to download on both Google Play and Apple Stores in China at an undisclosed future date.
